We are now recruiting bar staff! We are looking to introduce two or three new members to our team. The ideal candidates will be able to work as part of a team, be able to work a variety of shifts across the week and be physically able to keep up with the demands of working in a busy pub. Went for a meal spur of the moment thing with my partner on a Sunday was awesome graeat food n amazing staff very helpful and patient with a pregnant me was so impressed we went back 3 days later taking my mum and oldest daughter with us. Same thing awesome food and amazing staff 5 stars ain't enough

I really like going here. The staff are always friendly and polite and the food is always up to the standard that I expect of Weatherspoons (which on the whole I feel is great). I would definitely recommend and I will certainly be back again.

Went in for breakfast on Sunday morning, with adults and children. The member of staff that served us was great she went out of her way to make sure we had everything, she was also very polite. The breakfast was very good no complaints. Definitely be back again.

Visited The Salton Inn last night for the first time, the steak was grilled to my liking and the peas were not like bullets, everything was perfect. The only downfall was the lack of choice on the desert menu, nothing made my mouth water by just reading the menu which was a real shame.

Had a great meal with our boys for my wife and I Wedding anniversary meal. My son left his mobile phone fearing the worst I rang them but the lad behind the bar said they had found phone ! Thanks a lot and we will be back with trustworthy staff and brilliant food!!

Was in for afternoon tea all the tables was full of dishes we had to clean our own table had tea and scones gave us frozen cream he took it away to melt it still waiting for the cream do they not clean tables it's a disgress

Room was nice but very chemical smell!! Mugs and glasses smelled the same too...had to be washed before use! The food we had was lovely apart from Scottish breakfast (two mornings) everything on plate was just was just warm apart from potato scone which was lovely and hot!! Staff pleasant!! Would we stay again???????

Room excellent, bar state excellent.

Unfortunately when my meal was delivered the well done Aberdeen Angus steak was bloody and the baked tatty had ice in the middle when I complained I was told by a rude lady that I should explain what I want more clearly.

You get what you pay for should be their tag line I'm afraid. Good atmosphere, friendly staff & cheap food. sounds great, but the food is mostly terrible. Several different occasions now and there's always been some issue with the food.

Went to wetherspoons on Wednesday 30th December with 6 adults and 5 children. No burgers, no chicken nuggets, no macaroni, kids chicken burger turned out to be a plain, dry, chicken breast - not appealing to a 8 year old. A medium steak was ordered and was cremated. The bar staff were told there was no burgers when we were ordering - surely they should be informed before taking orders and the lady (I presume the manager) that told them this was very rude in front of us with her abruptness in telling them. They looked embarrassed at her way of giving information. When food arrived the peri chicken kebabs were very dry and the rice was obviously just reheated in a tub and been chucked on the plate - as was still in the shape of the container - again not very appealing! Also when server put down our food, told us there also was no children's cutlery so this (adult cutlery) "will have to do!" We have been here before and food is usually good but to run out of so many things really narrowed the choices and just feel the staff could be better at dealing with the public.

Staff inatentive, messed up the order with no real apology offered. After an unnaceptable length of time I was eventually asked how I would like my steak cooked. When it finally arrived it was delicious, however in England Weatherspoons would have offered complementary alcoholic drinks when you have to wait. Apparently not in Scotland not even a soft drink!

In for Sunday brunch. Burnt bacon and the most disgusting fried eggs ever. Crispy on the bottom and black on top, totally inedible. Just sorry I canтАЩt post the picture here.

There was no gluten free menu's which they claimed there had been a mix up with the new menu so was only offered a salad or a baked potato with steak.. had foned b4 hand to ask if we can ave sum tables put together as was a party of 14 ppl got there to b told who answered the fone had no rights to book on a saturday. Wont be goin back on our nxt get together

Very poor was in last night with a family of 9 places order which went ok then about 10 min after waiter came to advice that they had no buns left for burgers would we accept with out the bun 4 did but 1asked to change order which they then came back and said it was ┬г5 extra I argued that I didnтАЩt want to pay but got no where then order came with 1 meal missing and no sauce for steak so asked 3 timesfor it still no sauce when the late order arrived by the way the rest of table had finished grrr I asked again for sauce to be handed the ┬г1:25 for the sauce and told no point taking it now your finished your food grrr then left to go to toilet while the cleared the table for sweets to come back and sit on sweet chilli sauce they had spilled over my seat and not cleaned nit a good place to go and no customer satisfaction from the manager

We waited about 30 minutes for our starters to arrive and thought our mains shouldn't be too long after. 50 minutes later we were still sitting there waiting for our main courses, as we watched others who had not long come in receive their food. We were told repeatedly our food would be out soon. Eventually after a further 10 minute wait we were offered a full refund, but decided to leave without our food as we had somewhere to be. People go to a Weatherspoons for quick and convenient service, I don't know if there was a staffing issue today that caused our delay, but I personally feel a wait of almost 2 hours is ridiculous in any situation for food.

No fish,no chicken balmoral, no chicken,bacon& avocado salad but cud get a chicken Caesar salad with bacon. Oh no lasagne either the one saving grace was they did manage to do chips and chicken nuggets for my granddaughter. No blame on the service but who ever does the ordering needs a good shake up..

Every time I had food from there, its was cold and under cooked or the staff forget about your order and when you remind them it takes another 30 mins, then some of the order is missing or give you the wrong meal. Manager is not interested and is a lying fuckwitt. Very poor customer service. Avoid like the plague. Very unclean. The Fraseburgh bar is much better.

Extremely disappointed with the treatment towards our hen party on Saturday night. Told various times that 'we don't take bookings for Saturday nights' despite me having confirmation receipt. No apology from staff or team leader/manager on shift. Neglected thereafter. Had to personally ask for tables to be cleared an hour after we finished our meals! Will not be eating/drinking here again due to lack of apology for your mistake!!!

Came on Monday for a meal and a catch up with a friend and our children. Service was terrible !!! Went to bar to order and the girl serving looked at me and then shouted to a someone to come serve as I'm her words "I'm going for a fag" that same girl took our food over to our table it was thrown in front of us and with out a word she was off. It was quiet when we were in. I'm sorry but serving customers should be one of the skills possessed for the job. This is not the first time we have had problems with food and service although food was lovely on Monday.
