Went for afternoon tea on Saturday with a few friends and it was great, staff were friendly, lovely sandwiches, fine cakes and great value for money will defiantly be back! X x

We have frequented the Sitting Room a fair bit for both Lunch and Dinner.......oh and Breakfast too.....highly recommend this cosy place with a great atmosphere....food fabby doo, staff are ace �� A very welcoming place to eat....just what Portlethen needs xx ��

Warm welcome to a relaxing place. Lunch menu very good with a variety of dishes. Andrew had a steak burger that had homemade coleslaw and fresh salad with it. I had Macaroni Cheese that was very tasty. We will be back.

Very accommodating friendly service from start to finish!! At our table we had mac cheese and the burger, then for pudding cheese cake, sticky toffee and rocky road - all excellent quality and absolutely delicious. Can't wait to try again :)

Thank you so much to Cherie and the team for helping throw a surprise baby shower for me today! So accomodating, friendly and a lovely set up. There was even a wee rock playlist on for me. � Little touches like that really do make a difference. Afternoon tea was lovely and I just had a fab time. Thanks again!

Thank you for allowing my daughter to have her afternoon tea party with her friends at the Sitting Room they had a lovely afternoon and the food was fantastic, would have no hesitation recommending the Sitting Room.

Popped in with my mum and kids for some lunch. Couldn’t have been made to feel anymore welcome (even with my double buggy). Staff kept my son Sam amused so we got our lunch in peace. Will defo be back as spotted someone having the steak pie which look delicious. Thank you.

Not long back from having Father’s Day meal here and the food was delicious, staff were lovely too and what a lovely touch by giving my daughter a tin of beer to give to daddy later(she was chuffed with that �) will definitely be back �

My husband and I had a delicious meal here last night. Food amazing, friendly and attentive staff, cocktails went down a treat� Great to have this little gem on our doorstep.

My Gran arranged for herself, my daughter and I to attend the movie night and the food and service were both excellent. We come to scotland a couple of times a year all the way from Essex and we most certainly will be popping in again. Would highly recommend

Just had lunch at The Sitting Room. Highly recommended. Chicken Mayo sandwich was lovely and fresh. Side salad crisp and tasty and side portion of sweet potato fries were perfect. Husbands burger was a proper home made beef burger and he cleared his plate. Son didn't manage his chocolate waffles but only because he is not quite back to full health but they looked delicious. £20 exactly for lunch included 2 soft drinks. Well worth it.

Just had a lovely breakfast and hot chocolate! Food was great, hot chocolate was luxurious and service was fab! Looking forward to visiting more �

Very family friendly and very much value for money with mini macaroni dishes, mini burger and hotdogs followed by ice cream and unlimited warm pop corn and drinks! Highly recommend The Sitting Room for a coffee and catch up to! Well done just what we needed in Portlethen keep it up and good luck ��%

I was in today for eggs Benedict and I have to say that they were the best I have tasted. Will definitely be back!

I took my daughter for lunch yesterday. The food was delicious. The haddock fish cakes were so fresh and crispy and the salsa was a perfect accompaniment. The kids macaroni portion was very generous which also came with chips and very reasonably priced. My daughter couldn’t eat it all but she said it was really tasty. I’ve been a few times for coffee and love the decor and atmosphere. Great place to have in Portlethen. �

Highly recommend The Sitting Room for dinner! I had the Beef Chilli bowl which was delicious. Great choice on the kids menus too. Worth a visit if you havent been yet. We will definitely be going back. And kids eat free Monday-Thursday for every adult meal bought
