So this Sunday 5th August we have our 1st game of the season....game will be shown on the big screens at the Woodend Bar or the Bankhead inn....let's start off this season by watching this good first game....see you all then ⚽️⚽️⚽️

So we have got to the quarter final stage of the world cup..... Friday we have Uruguay v France at 3pm and Brazil v Belgium at 7pm
Saturday we have England v Sweden at 3pm and Russia v Croatia at 7pm.....Come on down to the woody or the bankhead inn to see the results happen and good luck to whoever is left in our sweeper at the bar

I've been going to the Woodend Bar for 46 years now (regularly when I lived in Stoneywood and always when I come back to visit). My Dad was a regular and my brother has been going for a lot longer than me. Will be back the beginning of November and I can still be guaranteed of a great welcome from all the staff and customers.

I used to visit there regularly when working at Wiggins Teape Stationery back in the early, mid 70's. Very friendly owner's. Great pub.

Fab pub! Was my first time here the other night and what a great atmosphere! The bar staff are so so friendly and you feel like you have known the for years because of how welcome they make you feel! if you like sick regulars that post photos of ibrox disaster then this is the bar for you.

bar staff are unfriendly and only prefer to serve the regulars before strangers....15 minutes i waited to be served at bar...wont be back. used to be cracking wee pub but now its just a money machine for the owners nothing more.
