BIG NEWS: We’ve taken our first steps in preparation for obtaining a production HST!
So far £37,448.58 raised so far for our #Depot125 appeal, and we’ve engaged building companies and begun developing plans for it.
Production HST vehicles are expected to be in the market soon, but we need £100,000 to build a structure that will protect our growing fleet BEFORE we acquire anything.

10202 successfully completed four round trips Ruddington - Loughborough today. Now the vehicle is fit for service, attention will turn to clearing defects to enable it to act as a fully functional catering vehicle. Well, today - in the name of charity fundraising - we're going to let you see it and hear it in all its glory.
In fact, we're going to spoil you: here's 41001's cab during a heatwave, hauling five carriages and another loco, going uphill.
... All we ask in return is that you give a little something towards our #Depot125 appeal at 125group.org.uk/depot. We need to raise £100,000 to build a depot to store our present an future fleet.

We were delighted to welcome a 75th birthday party on board our 1500 from Ruddington today.
The guests enjoyed a cream tea and stunning views of the East Midlands from the comfort of our air conditioned first class coaches, with our ever-reliable 41001 taking them there.

Very good ride on the EMT/your MK3 carriages at GCRN, I bought some good HST items from stall, friendly staff/volunteers, I thinking of joining this group as a member

This loco is first class in my books and me and my friends like it because it is the clag monster

The Inter City 125 Class 41 and 43 are a icon for Diesel Locomotive's and High speed travel in this country well worth having at Diesel Gala's around the UK.

I went on a daytrip to Manchester from London back in 2001. I took a Virgin train that had the 125's!
