Well hello all our Facebook friends....apologies for the radio silence but we have had a lot of sorting out to do. Anyway we are now here...based just along the corridor in the fabulous Simply Salvaged 😊 still at Heart of the Shires. Well we are nearing the end of our lease now, with our last trading day on Monday 30th July. So from today we have a fabulous 40% off all full price stock. Pop in and get some early Christmas gifts or treat yourself ...at 40% off there are some great items to be had :)

It is with a heavy heart that we are announcing that we will be closing at the end of July when our lease finishes. We have had an amazing three years here and met some fabulous friends and customers but it is now time to move on. We are still busy here and are currently having a 20% sale on ALL current stock, as our doors won't be closing till 31st July. So if you are wanting to grab a bargain or do some early Christmas shopping we have some great buys for you. What plans have you got..??.....Sunbathing (was one of Alfie's favourite pastimes), beach ......dont forget we are open all weekend and Bank hol Monday 10-5pm. Pop over and have a browse round all our lovely shops and enjoy a refreshing drink and snack in Darlingtons tearoom afterwards :)

On dreary days like today it's great thinking about our summer beach holidays. Jo Downs based in Cornwall makes beautiful coastal and sea inspired glass pieces. A new collection of small to extra large pieces now available at Alfie's Ark, from a token gift to a statement piece ☺

Lots of my customers are dog owners or have friends that own dogs. This is a horrible disease with no cure at present so please share with friends.

Happy New Year from all of us at Alfie's Ark. This time last year was a very sad time for us losing Alfie suddenly. Hopefully 2018 will bring happier times.
