Just a quickie, we have had a few messages on the answerphone just recently thus:- "Hello, can I have another load of logs please, thank you" but the caller hasn't left any details, we do get quite a lot of calls on the land line so can't always rely on 1471, please could you make sure you leave your name and contact number on your message so that we don't miss you.

If you run out of logs over the next 2 days, the Spar garages at Bilsby, Ulceby Cross and Partney all stock nets of our logs so they are available from there.

Hello everyone! We are trying to get a bit of time off together over Christmas so we would really appreciate it if you could please try to get your orders booked in tomorrow, Saturday and Monday if possible. We didn't finish until gone 5pm on Christmas Eve last year and would like to try and spend the day together this year.

Morning everyone! Mr Alford Firewood is already flying about taking orders out. We have two slots available this afternoon but that's all.
Advanced notice, next Thursday Mr Alford Firewood and our Tom will be attending mandatory training course for the farming side of the business and we have one truck in for its MOT so there won't be any deliveries after about 11am. Sorry for the inconvenience but these things have to be done!

Hi everyone! We are fully booked today and tomorrow morning and only have limited availability tomorrow afternoon.
In other news, we had a telephone call at lunch time, it was an automated message stating that there had been a suspicious transaction that had been made overseas on our Mastercard and to press 1 for more information. Please be aware this is a scam, your bank or credit card company will NEVER contact you with an automated message, if you receive a telephone call like this simply hang up, don't press anything. If you have concerns call your bank or credit card company direct but do not respond to any telephone calls, they are scams.

Proper frost out there this morning sees Mr Alford Firewood beetling about with deliveries whilst I do domesticated things in the warm.
Looking at the diary we have limited availability for deliveries on Monday, there will be no deliveries on Tuesday due to a prior appointment, we have limited availability Wednesday but Thursday and Friday are reasonably clear at the moment.
... We have had a few 'phone calls just recently from customers requesting orders because they had completely run out of logs, whilst we do our best to get orders out within 24 to 48 hours, we are pretty busy and cannot guarantee that we will be able to get your order to you within the hour. Please give us a call when you're getting low rather than when you haven't got any left at all.
