Today's job - making a vanity panel to sit behind the illusion fabric of a deep plunge neckline. Apparently, today is Blue Monday, the day in the year we are most likely to feel down. I was going to be glib and say, let's make it a #maltesermonday instead BUT as I'm writing this that sounds rather shallow. What can I say.... Amazing. Laura opened the shop on a day they were supposed to be closed, especially for me. She was so friendly and helpful, full of advice. I had previously been to around 6 other bridal shops and have tried on over 30 dresses. I had found my wedding dress after trying on only two others, and it was in the sale. We went in to Alisons shop for the first time on the off chance it was open and luckily it was. It was the first bridal shop we had looked in and we never went anywhere else! Alison was so welcoming offering her help and expertise even though we hadn't made an appoitment. She never rushed us, never pushed me into buying anything. She asked for my budget and we worked around that selecting dresses whitin that. I went in with no idea at all what dress i was after but Alison found some perfect ones to suit my figure and style. I said yes to the dress that day!! Ever since that first visit Alisons been there for me, shes been patient while ive had to bring my toddler with me at times,she's listened to my wedding planning dramas and given me lots of advice. Shes always made sure I'm happy with my dress and alterations...nothing was ever too much to ask. I always felt relaxed,welcomed and calm a real stress free experience!!! I would reccomended any bride to be to go and pay Alison and her Bridal shop a visit you won't be dissapointed! I will miss my fittings, it was a pleasure to be one your brides Alison and i wish you every success with your bridal shop, future brides will be lucky to have you and to experience what i did with a wonderful lady who cares about each and every bride to be!! ��� xxxx

So i went to try the dresses on today! Thankyou for all your help it was just perfect, the best experience ever, so helpful, kind and easy to get along with! I enjoyed every part, all of the dresses were so beautiful, and it was a very hard choice to make, but i found my dress and im so in love, i cant wait for my big day! Thankyou so so much!! I would whole heartedly recommend Alison Evans Bridalwear. They treat you like royalty and have made me feel so special when I was looking for a wedding dress. I've been back a couple of times since and I get the same treatment each time. Love love love them all, nothing is too much trouble. Can't wait to go back when my dress arrives.

Called in today on the off chance they could end my wedding veil nightmare and they did! Just by showing her a few photos of my dress and badly explaining what I wanted as I'm not good with technical terms she had the perfect veil and as luck had it she had it in stock so no waiting for it to be ordered. She even managed to do all that whilst entertaining my 16 month old daughter who was getting very grumpy from all the shopping at lunch time. Thank you so much xxx

Alison is the perfect lady to buy your dress from. I felt so comfortable every single time I went to the shop and for my fittings. She helped me find the most perfect dress and advised of lots of other wedding related things. The shop is beautiful and the atmosphere is so relaxed. Alison Evans is nothing short of amazing! Hers was the first bridal shop that I visited on the recommendation of my best friend. I was rather overwhelmed by all of the different styles Alison had for me to try on. After a couple of months visiting several other bridal shops, I just had to come back to Alison. She is an absolute expert at what she does and is always there to give the advice you need. All of her dresses are beautiful and I have found "the one". All of the staff are so friendly and make you feel so comfortable, unlike some of the other shops I had visited where the assistants were pushy and just want a sale! I will tell all of my friends to visit Alison's shop, as my whole experience from start to finish has been nothing but positive. I am so excited to go back for my final fitting! ❤
