To get a clear understanding, the term Halal has been defined to be known as something to be permitted or legal in Islam and in the eyes of Muslims. It is important for Muslims to follow Halal Principles such as the consumption of specific foods or the use of personal care products as it is a crucial part of the Islamic Faith.
The definition of Haram comes from the Arabic term meaning forbidden or unlawful, simply being the opposite meaning of Halal. There are many things that have been prohibited in Islam such as the consumption or use of alcohol, the use or consumption of any pork products as well as many others.
The general Population including Muslims and Non-Muslims believe that the term Halal normally only links to Meat. However with ATH, we aim to bring awareness of Halal on a wide range of Halal products, such as, sanitation, toiletries & cosmetics, soft drinks, vitamins & minerals, etc. It is hard for individuals to differentiate Halal and Haram products due to the complicated nature of ingredient lists.
