Just had our first fish n chips from Ambleside fisheries, I could not believe the quality of the food, its quite some time since we have had food and service as good as this. If you have not already tried this food I urge you do your taste buds a favour and try it now.

I used to like downeys,but the batter and chips from Ambleside are perfect. I've always missed the chips from Dublin chip shops,and at last found a place that does them same as back home. Spot on

Had my first delivery yesterday and i have to say i was very pleasantly surprised-the food was piping hot and delicious-the only downside was i couldn"t eat it all-didn"t realise i had ordered a whale ha ha! I have always bought my fish and chips from the sea front but the last few times the food hasn"t been up to standard. It"s Ambleside for me from now on-great customer service too-thank you! x

First visit to this Fish and Chip Shop and must say it is the best in Seaham. Can't believe how big the fish was and how tasty. The batter was lovely and crispy and the chips were delicious. Will definitely be back and well worth the little drive.

First time customer. Had the share box and it was delicious. Food was great quality. Totally stuffed. Will defo be ordering again.
