Amelia'S Animal Experience

Look at that handsome little face😻 I took Casper to his first show today to get him used to going in the car and being cuddled ready for coming on Animal Experience’s, he made me very proud!! He was so good all day and we even got some rosettes to bring home🥇 Love him to bits and I’m sure everyone that meets him will too❤️

Some photos from our great visit to University of Lincoln Student Wellbeing Centre on Wednesday! This time it was for the WOW week where new students transition into Uni life in a positive way, it’s brilliant😊 It was a privilege to be involved and it was amazing as always to see my animals bring out the young peoples confidence and make them feel at ease and happy🐾 We all had some lovely chats about animals and it was nice to know our visit gave this new uni family lots to talk about, so beneficial to anyone with any anxieties🤝

Just as we got excited to welcome a new addition to the team next week, we’ve had to say a very sad goodbye to Bonnie the bunny😞 her cuddles will be missed so much and she was loved by everyone who met her💗 RIP🐰

Another successful Wellbeing Wednesday at University of Lincoln 🐾 Many thanks to the Student Wellbeing Centre team for asking us to come in again, you’re all brilliant😊 So pleased to hear how many students said seeing the animals “made their day” and that it was “just what they needed to feel better”, that’s what we do it for! Will see everyone there again soon...

Visited the lovely Bernadette House yesterday for the first time😊 Here are some nice pictures captured by them. It was great to meet the residents and staff, all of which enjoyed the Animal Experience very much! Hope to go back again soon🐾

Stars of the show today at Greenfields residential care home in Newark⭐️ Always a pleasure going there and seeing the residents enjoy themselves so much, the animals love having photos with everyone to put up on the display board📸 Thanks to all the staff there for their support and regular rebooking😊 New team member on the left is Milly, she’s started coming with us to keep her little sister Hattie company🐾 Milly is a very friendly 11 year old Westie, she loves meeting new people for fuss and cuddles❤️

Yesterday’s booking at Children’s Links-Toy Library Lincoln organised by Jorja Le Gallienne - BID Services 😊 Once again, it was great to be involved with the lovely things they do for children, had such a nice morning seeing lots of smiling faces! Thank you everyone🐾 (Photo consent to be shared)

This afternoon we’ve been to North Scarle Primary School to help start off the students first topic of the year- Animal Nutrition and everything that comes with it🐾 the children asked a lot of great questions which I was happy to answer and to see them get a lot from meeting my lovely animals is the reason I do it😊 Many thanks to the school for having us and thank you to Charlotte (Miss Ford) for organising it with me🙋🏼‍♀️ Would be happy to come back anytime!

Huge thank you to the University of Lincoln Student Wellbeing Centre team for inviting us to be a part of their amazing #wellbeingwednesdays where they carry out positive activities for the students😊 what a nice thing to be involved with❤️ I was interviewed by some lovely journalist students who said they wanted to dedicate their upcoming work to seeing us today👍🏼 me and the animals were also visited by some hardworking students taking a break from their essays who said it really helped them to de-stress🙌🏼 I was also humbled to be told by many people of all ages that meeting the animals and chatting about them made their day😁 Such a great afternoon🐾 Will hopefully be back again soon...

Some info on what I do; I host animal experiences for all ages, needs and events. I come to your chosen location for an hour and carry out an educational and fun presentation for all animal lovers. I have a range of 7 loving pets, including a small dog, a rabbit, a guinea pig, a parakeet, a tortoise, a... leopard gecko and an African pygmy hedgehog. They can be stroked and held. Available to visit care homes, nurseries, schools, colleges, universities or for parties. I have had a brilliant response from care home residents and young people with additional needs. We had a lovely afternoon with Amelia and her beautiful pets. She was very good with our children explaining about each animal she showed. They all had a stroke of the pets and a cuddle with the rabbit. Xx

The girls have been completing their ‘Friend to Animals’ badge and being able to get hands on with your lovely pets was amazing!!

We all absolutely loved the experience and would recommend it to any other � Rainbow or Brownie units in the area.

Amelia is very organised and professional as well as having a wealth of experience and knowledge about her animals.

The animals are friendly and extremely well cared for, my favourite was Heidi, the African Hedgehog �.

I can strongly recommend Amelias Animal experience as a must do... Amelia shows a clear passion and dedication to provide an excellent service with her friendly animals. The way she presents the animals means that all participants can get involved, even if they do not wish to hold any animals.

First of all a big thankyou to Amelia for bringing her beautiful animals to our care home and for the chance for our residents to meet and to interact with them. Amelia is very professional throughout. Very polite and a lovely person, giving everyone a chance to get involved. It’s clear to see the passion and love Amelia has for what she does! Amelia came to our school last week with all her lovely animals and they all absolutely loved the experience � Amelia was amazing with all of our students with profound and multiple learning difficulties and they all had a wonderful session learning about the animals and stroking/ holding them. Amelia came to our Chance to Meet Christmas party at the NewLife Centre in Sleaford on 3rd December. We run activities for children and young people with sensory impairments and their families and we booked Amelia's Animal Experience as part of this annual event. We had such positive feedback from families and we will definitely be booking a session in 2018. Thank you to Amelia and her animals for a great afternoon :)
