My training never stops, each year I attend at least one makeup course, I want to offer all my clients the best techniques and products to create beautiful makeup. This week I was lucky enough to attend a class with James Malloy, he is an exceptional artist and creator or Mykitco. Lots of new brushes bought & an ace goody bag!

I created the real skin series because I really dislike seeing over edited plastic skin. Women all over and of all ages are feeling bad on a daily basis because we don’t live up to images we see and in that moment we forget that we have editing apps at our fingertips, we can slim, smooth, remove wrinkles and spots with one touch of a screen....
The object we look to for reality is infact the one thing warping our minds and thoughts.

It took him 15 years to pop the question but by the looks of Amy face I would say it was worth the wait!. I travelled to Cambridge to provide Amys makeup and when you get photos like this it was worth the 330am wake up time.

When choosing different suppliers for your wedding there is so much out there and sometimes you don't know who to pick or whether you have made the right choice.

I was so pleased I picked Amy to do the makeup for myself, my 2 bridesmaids and my mum on my wedding day.

It is clear that Amy has a lot of experience and knowledge of the great products she uses (predominantly Bobbi Brown which is why I chose her in the first place).

Amy was also so friendly and chatted the whole morning which really made everything so calm and relaxed. My sister was initially sceptical about having a makeup artist due to having pale skin and red hair she was worried about products being too dark or strong, but Amy did a fantastic job with the skills and experience she has and my sister was incredibly happy with the result.

The makeup lasted all day and the little pot of lippy to top up throughout the day was a lovely bonus.

I wanted to look like me but better on my wedding day, with makeup that looked glowy and natural but still lasted all day, and Amy nailed it! I felt amazing, and she made my four bridesmaids and Mum look stunning too. Not only is she super talented but she’s the loveliest person as well - I felt like I could have chatted to her all day at my trial and on the day she was really friendly and such a calming influence. I could not recommend Amy more! She was so helpful at my trial, very easy to talk to, so approachable when I had any questions and really knows her stuff (my bridesmaids and I got some great tips!) Excellent Make Up Artist, super friendly and very talented! Stunning results.

Amy was brilliant - she and Alison Jenner the hairstylist created just the vintage look I wanted. I was really worried about getting panda eyes but Amy sent me a really reassuring e-mail promising that I'd be fine and she was absolutely right - no panda eyes in sight! Thank you so much Amy.

Amy is extremely professional and made me at easy right from the start. For a lady who rarely wears makeup and does not have a clue even where to start, Amy was fantastic.



She was patient to explain all the products, informing me what they do and fully understood my desire to look natural.



Amy was also amazing with my Mum and Sister as part of the bridal party. Amy’s studio for the trail is private and well equipped.

Amy did the make up for myself, mum and 2 bridesmaids for my Wedding in March and she was excellent. I do not normally wear a lot of make up so I was quite nervous about booking a make up artist but knew I wanted to look my best on my big day. I went for a trial at Amy's studio in Southwell and she put me at ease straight away, and took the time to ask me questions and find out about my personality in order to get the right look. Following the trial Amy kept in touch via email regarding my skin care routine and products she had suggested to help with my dry skin. On the day Amy was brilliant. My make up was very natural so I still felt like myself even wearing false eyelashes, and the whole bridal party looked stunning!

Amy did my make up for my wedding in July 2018 and my 4 bridesmaids. She did such an amazing job on all of us and was such a calming influence on the day. During the trial, Amy really took the time to understand exactly what I wanted, whilst also being excellent at guiding me when I was unsure. My make up lasted an entire day, withstanding heat and a lot of happy tears!! It really gave me confidence with the hundreds of pictures being taken!!

Absolutely love Amy and her work :) She has a really lovely way with people and a fantastic talent for makeup! I would highly recommend her X
