These gorgeous ladies wore a buttermilk silk dress with handmade roses adorned with pearl and crystal. We made matching lace veils and their skirts were full and fabulous with lace detailing.

The 'Angela Vickers Experience' is like stepping into a magical fairytale emporium when you enter her shop. You only have to see this fabulous, quirky and gorgeous lady to know that this lady is Queen of fabulousness!



I got a sense as soon as I went in that if anyone can make you look and feel your best it's this lady. She oozes style, class, understated sensuality, femininity - what woman wouldn't want these things when seeking a dressmaker to create an outfit to make her feel the same?



Her shop is a boudoir of dresses for all styles, shapes and sizes. With a huge vintage gold framed free standing mirror and chaise longs for viewing I felt like I was in a top London fashion house!



The dress making goes on behind the curtain at the back of the shop and all her staff are friendly and hospitable. I had a cup of tea in my hand within 2 minutes of entering! Tea is very important ;)



Talented Angela is known worldwide for her wedding dresses however I'd like to personally highly recommend her for any special ocassion outift.



I was so inspired by her dresses and her creativity that I have commissioned her to make a couple of outfits for my media appearances as The Great British Sexpert.



I now have to try to be really patient however I know that her creations will be worth the wait! If I could give more than 5 stars then I would. This lady is exceptional!

I had so much fun sharing my ideas for my dress with Angela and her team. It turned out absolutely perfect. Everyone that has seen it is amazed by how unique and modern it is whilst still being a glamorous wedding gown. The bespoke belt also worked brilliantly with the dress and was a beautiful final touch. It all worked so well together, I couldn't be happier. I am so glad I got my dress from Angela and I had an input into its design, I'll always remember that part but wearing the dress was definitely the BEST bit! Thank you so much!

It’s our 15th wedding anniversary on 26th April and I still love my dress made by Angela. Amazing workmanship x

I've NEVER seen such beautiful, exquisite bespoke hand made bridal dresses and Mother of the bride outfits. Absolutely stunning!!! Angela is in a class of her own and really knows her trade, truly unique and out of this world!

I popped in to the shop with my mum and stepdad on the off chance of having a look at some of the dresses. We made an appointment and received brilliant treatment. After looking through a few of the dresses I knew I'd found 'the one', even though all of the dresses are 5* quality. Both Angela and the lady who helped us in the shop were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. They showed me several colours and fabrics to choose from to fit my colour scheme. I can't wait to see it next year when it's all finished!

I met Angela Vickers when she was exhibiting at the NEC over 18 months ago, I arranged a visit to her beautiful shop in Nottingham and from the moment you walk in it was and has been a beautiful experience, I really cannot thank her and her team enough for the dress of my dreams it was absolutely everything I wanted and more.

Also she made my mothers dress which had similarities to my dress which was also beautiful.

I had tried several other dresses on beforehand and nothing compared to Angela's work, all her dresses are made bespoke and that is what I wanted my very own dress made exactly how I wanted, I even changed things along the way and nothing was too much for her. At every single fitting myself my mum, my bridesmaids and my little girl were all made welcome and I'm sorry ill never have another fitting! I will miss going into her lovely little boutique.

On the day I felt like a princess, my husband was absolutely blown away and everyone commented on how stunning my dress was!

I bought my beautiful wedding dress from Angela Vickers for my wedding in August 2014. Angela and Charlotte made me feel so welcome and made the whole experience really enjoyable. I would especially like to mention that they were very sensitive to the fact that my mother, who is suffering from a serious illness, was not able to come with me. Unlike another bridal ware shop I visited, where I was told that it was no good trying on dresses in front of my best friend and sister and that I needed to come back with my mother - totally insensitive! While trying on dresses (and especially when trying on my final choice) I was made to feel really special and beautiful, which is just what a bride wants when they are worrying about all the things that need to be sorted! I chose one of the sample gowns, which was the first one that caught my eye in the end and Charlotte agreed to make me a custom made lace jacket and matching veil that I liked from another gown. I was then able to chose from a great selection of shoes and found some that were very reasonably priced. I see people on here complaining that they were made to feel fat by having a board or extra fabric placed down the back of a dress, well this is normal practice with sample gowns - I am a size 8 and still had to have extra fabric when trying on certain gowns. It simply wouldn't be possible to have every sample in every size, these are for display and to give you an idea of the style you like before having yours custom made. Overall an amazing experience, beautiful gowns in a beautiful studio. Thank you Angela and Charlotte xx
