Afternoon, Mortgage Monday Message returns after an Easter break. Been great offering 4 first time buyers, mortgage offers over the past couple of weeks and such pride it gives to offer that guarantee of a mortgage. The responses were so gratifying, to feel like you have not just been part of someone's journey but helped them physically acquire the keys to their new home too! All 4 cases had varying levels of complexity and 3 of whom were self-employed for all or part of thei...r income. All accepted with prime mortgage lenders, all offering free mortgage valuations and instant email case update facilities. This allowed me the privilege of calling one of my clients, last week with the highly anticipated confirmation of a mortgage offer, whilst I was out of the office, all day. Mortgage Monday Message, back for another new week. Evening all, Mortgage Monday Message here. Was great to receive some positive news for my client last week, after waiting some time for a mortgage offer. The council had offered them the chance to purchase the currently rented council house at a discounted price, under the Right to Buy scheme. Due to specific circumstances, we were delayed by the lender several times, however perseverance and experience told me it was right to wait.... Low and behold we finally succeeded in securing a mortgage offer, allowing my client to purchase the property with £0 deposit as the right to buy scheme allows and onwards to completion now. Evening all, Mortgage Monday Message here and on a Monday that now brings us into April, yes April! I guess this year going quick, as the saying goes is in full swing and time to sit down and think about getting the finances in order, because before you know it, we will all be saying Merry Christmas!! Always worth seeing what options are out there for re-mortgaging as lenders standard variable rates continue to trend far higher then promotional rates from most lenders. Equall...y a hot time for first time buyers as the ? of Brexit continues to loom and buyers continue to trial this as a negotiating tool. As honesty remains my key focus, I always point out, that absolutely you can pop into a lender on the high street and go through the mortgage application process in person. Or you can keep your free time your own and let Ashby Mortgages do it all for you! The greatest perk is that should there be an issue when applying, we can move focus to a new lender almost immediately without the need for you to go through everything all over again with yet another lender, asking another 50 questions and another bunch of meetings. Evening to all. Another week another Mortgage Monday Message 😃 I must say a highly successful day spent at the idea inducing co-engine workspace. It’s interesting to think as Ashby Mortgages set a standard for making mortgages simple, to also consider the complexities and availability of offerings from lenders in this modern world. It's been a busy day, finding my way to approve a few more new clients and approving new mortgages for them, equaling an unbelievable £856,700!!! That has certainly kept me busy.
... Topped off with a lovely message from my client after already writing me a review; " I feel I want to do more for you, than just a review... It's been a dream working with you."
And all I do, as my logo suggests is make Mortgages, Simple. No sales mumbo, jumbo here, always just honesty!

Evening all, Mortgage Monday Message, means another week has rushed by... As the week begins, lots of clients enquiring more and more about taking advantage of historic low mortgage rates. If you’ve been stuck on a variable rate for some time and not looked into your mortgage, then you could be set to save £’s. A client I met this month are paying almost £800 per month for their mortgage, but needed to consider borrowing £60,000 more. They’d been stuck on such a high rate tha...t the new mortgage proposal bought the monthly payments down to £575 per month (and yes this included borrowing the extra £60,000!)
Always worth reviewing and if your with a high street lender and stuck on a variable rate and feel you cannot move mortgages because of your circumstances, then most providers will offer a far better deal with NO financial or credit checks. It really can be that simple and I can work out the options available as early as a chat on the phone.

Evening all, A great email in earlier today after a lovely phone call giving this client the news of their mortgage offer. They had tried to buy in 2017 & 2018 & 2019 and declined each time by their own high street bank. I secured a rate (better than the one they’d just been declined for,) with another high street lender, after this client was referred to me. A very happy customer! 😃
