This weather is amazing. Here at the nursery plants are loving it. The perennials have enjoyed the frost & all of the veg plants & bedding plants have thrived in the high light levels. Over 30 varieties of tomato plants still available 🍅

Good morning!!

Happy New Year!! We have lots of perennials growing on for the coming season and are very busy getting ready to open again in March. We'll be attending quite a few events in 2019 and will keep the website & this page updated. We can't wait for another great growing season - and hopefully lots of sunshine. We all look forward to seeing you at the nursery soon!

The first of the cucumbers are out on sale - loads more to follow 🥒 sunny days! Happy days!

Courgettes, various squashes and marrow plants are out on sale now. Last chance to get certain varieties of tomatoes before they all go. We've got a fantastic selection of roses 🌹... Our nursery is now full of healthy & strong perennials that are as happy as we are to have made it through this winter! Sunny, happy days 👌🐞🌼☀️

Chilli 🌶 & pepper plants are out for sale as from today. There is a great selection of vegetable plants still to choose from. The nursery is looking full of fresh green growth. The plants 🌱 are loving the gentle drizzle. We've got a great selection of bedding & basket plants, too. It's wonderful to see some colour appearing - finally!

Tomato plants are out on sale as from today. Despite all of this rain and the never ending dull days, the nursery is looking fresh & full of growth. Mick has started bringing a selection of tomato plants through and, although they have taken their time, there is already a good selection to choose from. Tomato seedlings - weather permitting another 2 weeks and they should be ready for sale! 🍅

WE ARE NOW OPEN and will be every day. All of our plants have made it through the cold spell and some may be showing it, but all are well and fighting back! Primulas, Polyanthus & Bellis are colourfully representing the early side of the season and bulbs (although shy for this time of year...) are showing signs of goodwill. The weather is showing signs of warming up, too. Happy days!

We are really sorry to inform everyone that we have had to delay our opening on the 1st March as so excitingly scheduled. We were ready, but then the beast came. A wonderful hot day. Lots and lots and lots of watering.... lots. However, our hard work is ever so rewarding when these beauties smile back at you :-)
