Very good evening for NYE and 30th Birthday celebration. Plenty of drinks and canapes on arrival. Food was served swiftly and it was nice and hot. The soup starter was bland and needed more seasoning but apart from that it was great. Fabulous Circus entertainment, could have been more. A good dj to end the night with a bacon butty. Overall a fab evening :)

It was amazing Circus show. The food was excellent and served very professional. Brilliant idea with the Casino made my night I came 2nd overal on the roulette wheel and won the bottle of champagne. Breakfast bacon cobs was delicious at 12am. The best Christmas party venue I've been too in a long time. Very worth every penny. Well done Athena! 🎄🎅🏻

New Years Eve party, a very busy evening but the staff were very efficient at getting the food out to everyone. Delicious food, very tasty, hot and well presented. Pre-ordered Wine was on the table. Plenty of canapés and drinks on arrival. excellent circus performamce but wish there was a bit more of this entertainment. Good DJ playing the sounds that got everyone up for a dance. Lovely location, smart, clean and tidy. Thank you Athena, and happy new year to you!

Had a great night on our works do, food and entertainment was brill, staff where polite and helpful. Had to go back in after we left as we could not get our parking ticket to work, a male member of the bar stack came out to the car park to help resolve the issue for us (was my error).

Reading some of these other reviews it is obvious that you cannot please every one. Well done Athena �

Fabulous venue. Prosecco on arrival. Catered for my vegan gluten-free diet. All staff professional and courteous.

Attended @[1611649629121929:Comic Con Leicester] at Athena June 3-4 2017. The staff and security were very helpful and seemed to enjoy the event. The stalls were well arranged and despite being a complete sell out, access was never difficult, even for those in big costumes. It was very hot inside, even with the aircon on full. The bar was very pricey and there was no food on sale. We had a good time there. No complaints.

Had a great night thanks to great friends but was very disappointed as we never saw a canapé in sight and it was not explained properly where and when to get the bacon rolls so when we went to get one we were told there was none left which I felt was really poor as for what the night cost it didn't live up to what it said .

I was unfortunately disappointed after listening to others say how good it was. I felt more effort could of been made to make it feel Christmas, there was not a bit of tinsel any where. Not a Christmas trees in site! No twinkling lights ! Disco was brilliant. I had to go over food order again because staff hadn't got print outs. It all seemed to be about money, the drinks were very expensive. My meal had half missing to what others had and desert we had to wait for because they hadn't done enough! Come on Athena if you are going to charge £58 a ticket at the least be prepared for it and make it look like it's worth it. Won't be coming back.

Terrible, doormen are heavy handed and just waiting for an opportunity to pounce. Event managers are clueless to the real world. Bar areas over crowded and slow.
