Atkins Building Description
The Atkins in Hinckley is an exciting mixed-use centre for the local creative and business communities.
Based within former Atkins hosiery factory situated in the centre of Hinckley in Leicestershire, this Grade II listed building has been completely redeveloped to provide nearly 40, 000 square feet of space. It is divided into creative studios and serviced office space, an art gallery, café, and meeting and function rooms.

Thank you to everyone who attended the Atkins Heritage Tour today, we had a great time and managed to dodge the rain. Don’t forget you can still visit Hinckley & District Museum and Hinckley Great Meeting Unitarian Chapel which are still Open as part of Heritage Open Days

The Christmas Gift Fair returns to the Atkins Gallery on Saturday 17th November with Christmas gift ideas and other festive treats. There will be a huge range of stalls to get you in the Christmas mood and a chance to tick some items off from your Christmas shopping list.
The event is FREE to enter and open 10:00 to 16:00 and is the same weekend as Hinckley Town Centre Christmas Light switch on and Tin Hat Fair.

What an amazing two weeks the Atkins Team has had with the #islastones exhibition. A big thank you to Exhibition organiser Lisa Crankshaw, all the #islastones volunteers and Isla's family for helping make the Exhibition such a success!
There are still #islastones available for collection to put back on their journey to continue raising awareness of childhood cancers.

Congratulations to the BBC Radio Leicester Clueless team who won their #islastones theme treasure hunt! The reward for all their clue solving hard work and running in the rain was to see the first ever Isla stone painted by Isla Tansey herself. The Isla stones exhibition finishes this Friday with a big hiding event starting at 3pm Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council

What a beautiful building, well looked after and maintained, it was a very good choice to have a glass exhibition there with the large windows letting in loads of light. Well done Chris Woolman an excellent choice of venue.
The Atkins is home to my private practices, Hinckley Counselling and Heart of Well Being. I just wouldn't be anywhere else. Wonderful environment. Very grateful to be part of this lovely old building's history.
