What can you expect from next years same sex threes event?
A two day event with 6-7 workouts that all teams complete
... More surfaces, more workout areas. A minimum of three workout areas, and it could be as high as five!
Swimming. The marmite of UK Crossfit! Our swimming workout will be structured so that teams can compete with only one competent swimmer (although they might get tired!)
Even more fun equipment. A two day event gives us the chance to introduce more exciting equipment. Shopping lists are being written already. Promise no straw though!
Accessible workouts - Our categories are suitable for strong scaled to intermediate (Throwdown), and strong intermediate to RX (Compete). See our workout library link below for a better idea on BFMG programming
Same number of heats. Both the Throwdown (7) and Compete (6) categories will be capped at 7 heats as in 2018. This means teams can expect a lot of event time, and also give us scope for some longer format workouts.

We will be sending the first wave of finals invites on Tuesday September 25th.
Wave One - The teams in qualifying positions will be invited to book their finals place. They will have 10 days to do so.
Wave Two - After ten days, any unclaimed places will be offered to the next ranked teams on the leaderboard. These teams will have 5 days to claim their places.
Wave Three - After five more days, any unclaimed places will be offered to the next ranked teams on the leaderboard. These teams will have 2 days to claim their places.
Wave Four - After two more days, any unclaimed places will be offered to all teams who have completed at least one qualifier on a first come, first served basis.

In Three Minute Windows - Complete the required work and add 2 reps per movement per round until you can no longer complete the workload in the given window
Every 3 minutes, for as long as possible
Add two reps per movement per round
Elite (all)

ALL categories will add two per reps per movement in every subsequent three minute window
i.e If an Elite team completes 2 rounds of 10 OHS and 10 C2B, they will wait till 3:00 before commencing:
2 rounds 12 OHS 42.5/30 12 C2B
And so on, adding two reps per movement, per window.
New windows can only be commenced every three minutes
The workouts ends when teams can no longer complete the workload in the allocated window
At that point, the team will total their reps to give their score, in reps
