They are facts.

We have a phenomenal amount of stuff for sale at bargain prices over the next two weeks. Each sale will start at 11am and finish at 7pm on the next two Thursdays and Fridays. This wall of stock will be revealing vintage and household items, furniture and pictures galore. You might find a unique gift for that special person at Xmas, something for the home, or an item to repurpose, re-use or upcycle!
Free parking and admission. For larger items of furniture there is a goo...ds lift and loading bay. We are located just of the Racecourse in the centre of Northampton near the University.

This weekend we are in Oswestry, at the antique fair at the showground. We have lots of ephemera, from magazines to theatre guides of actors before they were famous. We have Terence Conran furniture and 17th Century stump work, 18th Century engravings and Emile Zola 1st editions. We have Christmas markets to come and we're always online on Ebay, etsy, and Amazon, but if you miss us in Oswestry we will be back in Kent in mid January 2019.

You know, sometimes something flies through our hands faster than we expect it to and we don't have a chance to photograph it. Two weeks ago we were approached and asked if we would be interested in buying a pilots log and his pay book, plus a couple of photos, from 1945. The pilot in question was the gentleman's best friend but left these things to him. The pilot finished training just after the war ended and didn't have any 'missions' in his log book. Before we had a chance... to even look properly at it it was on it's way to Lincolnshire to a chap who is collecting with the hope of starting a museum for the RAF during the war. On top of this the gentleman who sold the items had a receipt. So what, you might say. but this receipt was for a watch repair in 1949, it was in mint condition. The name of the owner of the watch was one Wing Commander J E Johnson, better known as Johnnie Johnson, fighter ace of WWII.
