The last days in the garden ...

I'm not so regular at keeping you up to date with the latest from Baudelaire, so whilst I'm at it I wanted to show a few photos of the amazing things that a work experience student got to grips with during her time with us in January. She started by clearing and organising the workroom and stock but soon moved onto pattern cutting, creating mood boards, using the industrial machines, meeting clients and generally being an absolute joy to have around! With a true and genuine talent, I wish her the very very best of luck with her career and look forward to seeing what her future brings. We loved having her here with us ... what a clever girl for sure 😃 (beautiful sketchbooks!!)

With January nearly over and the first signs of spring appearing, we are working with colour! Bright and optimistic, light and breezy and bringing sunshine in through the grey days. We are smiling here ...

A guest bedroom for January with embroidered linen from GP&J Baker - pattern matched across a large bay window, roman blinds with a gentle cascade. The window is double dressed with a pair of lined, interlined and triple pleat headed curtains across the face of the bay. The wallpaper coordinates but does not match, deep grey paint work on bespoke joinery. Accessorised with fun finds and finishing touches.
