The hosepipe ban due to come into force in most of Cumbria at the weekend has been cancelled.
The water company, United Utilities, says recent rainfall has "gone some way to helping with water supplies".

Artist, Gina Farncombe, says she's "one happy woman" after a painting taken from the top of Mell Fell was returned.
She hides her canvases under trees overnight so she doesn't have to carry them up and down the Lake District fells.

Like the station and its people but the BBC hierachys interference in the choice of music, banning competitions, and turning evenings into a Radio 2 sound alike etc spoils what was a really enjoyable experience.

Thank heavens the quality of the station staff and the likes of Richard Nankivell, Val and Gordon make it unmissable!!

Kevin and Caroline are brilliant. Also Biz Quiz is excellent. Emma does a great job with it.

Keeps me company at all hours as I bake, working alone here at Fiends Fell Pantry. Love all the shows (well except the sport, sorry!)

I like Radio Cumbria s it provides some great music and interesting people on telling us their life stories.Mike ,Val and Gordon are so funny they make me laugh.Kevin ( Fern ) he keeps on repeating himself throughout the three hours of the show....

Great station with fab presenters and supper range of shows and so informative too. Keep up the good work...

Fab radio station. Music for all. My favourite are tunes from 60's and 70's. Love the stories and quizzes too. News bulletins good.. Hard to pick a fav presenter but if had to Val pips it. All round 10/10.. Thank you.

Came to live in Cumbria 22years ago and met Val Armstrong and Alan Smith and have been hooked ever since, a great team, love you all.

Brilliant folk great day with the team.

Been going on various shows for fifteen years and they are always the nicest people and make everyone feel welcome and relaxed.

The Gateshead v barrow AFC game we are not hearing any of the match just the view of the ground we want to hear want is going on the pitch
