Me and Daisy visited Peak Wildlife Park today with friends... the first time I’ve been and we thought it was fab. Only 35 minutes a way... close encounters with most of the animals. The giant bouncy castle was defo a big hit. Plenty of picnic benches around and even an indoor area to eat your own food if it was raining☔️ but luckily the weather was very kind to us today.☀️
Thought I’d let you all know about it 😀

just had a couple of nights stay along with my husband and my two sons, partners and their families. ( + 2 dogs)

Weather wasn't that good but still had a good time. Enjoyed the walk along the river.

The site is very well maintained and the facilities are modern and clean.

There's a friendly staff presence walking around the site several times a day cleaning and checking areas , which is reassuring.

only thing I didn't like was the path to the toilets , steep and when wet very slippy.

Would definitely recommend and return to.

User

We love it! Been here twice this year. Great location. Lovely and clean. Great facilities and nice dog exercise area. Will 100% be back

User

This was our first visit to this site and we was blown away, the staff are extremely helpful. The location and views and stunning. The amenities are second to none. Definitely looking forward to next year.

User

This is our 3rd visit here. Weather is always interesting. This visits snow. Facilities are next to non. Will always be in our top campsite list. Keep up the good work. Much appreciated.

User

Stayed here for 2 nights a couple of weeks ago and it was great.

The cabin with the coffee machine and microwave is a great touch.

Showers and toilets were spotless.

The use of a top up card for electric hook ups is a brilliant idea. If you don't use all the electric you paid for you then get what is left back .

Lots of lovely walks around the site.

Only 10 mins from Bakewell in one direction and 10 mins from Buxton in the other direction.

Lots of birds around the site and there are 3 pygmy goats to feed too.

All in all a fantastic site and we will be returning again in the future.

User

Spent the weekend here, absolutely lovely place, staff are so friendly and helpful, everywhere was spotless, cleanest toilets I have ever seen on a camp site. This is a great base for great walks, would recommend and will return

User

Spent 5 days here over the Easter holidays, very well kept site with friendly staff. Kids loved the goats, sheep, play area and being able to safely ride around on their bikes. Really handy for Monsal trail and walks. Definitely recommend!

User

Perfect campsite. Will definitely come back another time. It is, probably, the best campsite that we have stayed on. Can't find one single thing to fault it on

User

Love love love this place! Been coming here at every oportunity for the last three years.....beautiful setting, excellent facilities 💜

User

Just returned home after a 3 night stay and despite all the wind and rain we have had a lovely time and the weather didn't hold us back too much. Some great walks to do from the site and the monsal trail is in easy reach. Can also recommend the Church Inn which is a 30 min walk. The Campsite is cleaned to a high standard and there is lots of space between pitches. Staff very friendly and helpful. Only small niggle was that there wasn't a hair dryer ☹️Plenty of sockets if you bring your own, will know for next time !

User

Just come back from a 5 night stay. Really enjoyed staying here.

Large pitch with ehu, water and ariel plug in. Great large field for dog walking. Great facilities.

Would reccomend this site.

User

Just came back from a 2 night stay ,, lovely clean friendly site,, don't bother you,, showers and toilets are best I've ever been too ,, all underfloor heating ,, set on 3 levels with great views , would recommend,, we will definitely return at some point

User

Just back from our fantastic stay at Beechcroft farm! This was our first ever camping trip, and with our four daughters, the youngest being 5 months old, we were a bit dubious! But we loved every second. Fantastic site, spotless facilities with great showers and plugs for my straighteners(a girl can't rough it too much!) amazing views, and two lovely parks for children of all ages. We will definately stay again. Thank you x

User

Just back from a fantastic weekend camping. Excellent facilities and great location...thanks for the 10mile round trip bike ride tip. Apart from the rocky hills it was excellent and the views were amazing at the top of the hills!

User

Just back from a 3 night stay in my caravan with my sister in her horse box. Got two excellent pitches next to each other, loads of room (or maybe our units are just small). Had a great weekend despite the efforts of storm Brian. Always somewhere to visit in Derbyshire, the mines and caverns are great during a storm!

The toilet / shower block are the best I've seen (in fact, had storm Brian taken it's toll I was going to sleep in there ). Great washing facilities and brilliant idea of a dog / bike / boot wash and coffee hut. Would have spent more time on the park with my 8 and 4 year old had the weather been better but it didn't spoil our fun. Water taps on the hook ups was an added bonus (only wish I'd known in advance there were TV aerial sockets on there too, I'd have brought a cable).

Will definitely go back again. Excellent work Beech Croft xx

User

First time to this campsite and thoroughly enjoyed it; very good clean facilities, friendly staff and overall good atmosphere. Thank you. Beech Croft and we will see you again soon.

User

Came here for a few days and ended up staying longer , place has every thing facilities are great , walks , and every a pub just down the road at Miller's dale , bus stop at bottom of drive ,, jump on it takes you straight to pub and bring you back , only a few pound rtn or you can walk if nice weather only 1.5 miles down road

User

Beautiful and laid back site. So much to do on and around the campsite. Staff very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The site is VERY clean. Glad we found this place and definitely coming back next year

User

Another lovely weekend away here. The site wardens were really nice and helped our family site their caravan in the snow. Lovely, warm ladies showers with underfloor heating which made it warm and toasty. There is all the facilities you could need on site. Can't fault this little gem of a campsite and only a short drive away from Bakewell and Buxton. This was our third time here and will most definitely be back again. We had a winter wonderland this weekend with the snow which made it all the more christmassy. First rate campsite.
