The Face of Jesus in Art - Quiet Day
On Saturday 1st June there will be a Quiet Day held at BMC Chilwell Road. The day will be led by Fr Matthew Askey, an artist who is Southwell Minster School Chaplain. The theme for the day will be 'The face of Jesus in art', a reflective day rather than a practical activity. However, people are welcome to bring there own art materials to use between talks if they wish.
The day will begin at 9.45am with refreshments and finish at 4pm.
... The event is open to everyone over the age of 16 and not limited to those with a keen interest in art. If anyone under the age of 16 would like to attend with their parent/guardian please contact us.
There will be no charge to attend the Quiet Day however there will be opportunity for people to make donations if they wish to do so.

On Tuesday March 5th, Shrove Tuesday, we will be holding our Messy Church Pancake Party with Messy Church commencing at 4.00 and the Pancake Party starting at 5.00, going on till 6.00pm. We will also be promoting the 40acts Generosity Challenge for Lent. What is that about? Come along on Tuesday and find out.
