Bennerley Viaduct was included on the 2020 World Monument Watch list, the only site in the British Isles to be accepted. This short video explains what the Watch is all about and the other sites which have been included in the 2020 Watch. It is humbling for Bennerley Viaduct to be in such amazing company.
Moseley Baths was on the 2016 World Monument Watch List. The baths are now open, thriving and the scaffolding has been removed. Well Done Friends of Moseley Baths.
Winter Holidays at Bennerley-dorm.
Storm Dennis, very wet feet and an even wetter Bennerley Viaduct.
Thanks to Mark Chambers for a superb video accompanied by Pink Floyd. Enjoy!

A sad and an angry post. Someone enjoying the wildlife near Bennerley has all his equipment robbed. If you were down in the area at the time and have any information, please get in touch with the police. Purchasing that equipment will have taken someone years and years of hard work and savings. Some one has been attacked in broad daylight enjoying their hobby. It makes my blood boil!
Thanks Patrick for the images. This one shows the deck looking eastwards with the gantry in the foreground. The gantry was removed in 2017

Come and join us at the Friends of Bennerley Viaduct AGM at the Gate Inn, Awsworth. The first part of the meeting will be the AGM and project update, the second part will be an illustrated talk by Dr David Gent, a civil engineer who specialises in historic wrought iron structures. All welcome but only members will be able to vote on resolutions.

Thanks Ivan for this image showing the place where you spent your childhood along with the railway canal bridge (now demolished)
Thanks Paul. Now that looks cold!
Another super drone image showing the Bennerley marshland to the south of the viaduct. These marshlands are rich in birdlife.
