Yew lodge hosted my wedding this weekend and what a wonderful day it was , from start to finish penny mark and all staff went out of there way to make myself my husband and all my guest happy, the food was incredible even in large quantities ! The hotel facilities are clean and welcoming and I would Highly recommend this hotel and wedding venue !! Thankyou so much

Would highly recommend this hotel, Marcos restaurant and the Spa facilities to anyone that wants a lush stay at a great hotel at a very good price. Yew Lodge hosted our wedding 2 years ago and what an amazing wedding it was! Clare, Magda, Mark, Penny and the rest of the team did us proud. We have return each year for our anniversary and yet again had a great stay. The meal in Marcos was stunning, great solo artist providing entertainment and our favourite hosts, Muzzy and Gylles (hope that’s spelt right) we’re there making it even more special. Thanks guys xx

Went there on Saturday for drinks & a meal, all we’re fab & live music was great too, not my 1st visit here & certainly won’t be my last

We had a wonderful day, the staff made us all feel extremely welcome and were very helpful with my elderly parents, a big thank you to Rob who made our day flow every smoothly. The food was excellent and the rooms were very comfortable. Would highly recommend the Yew Lodge.

We had a package deal which included a two course meal in Marcos, Bed, Breakfast and a day in the Spa. The total experience was excellent, from our arrival to our departure everybody went about their jobs professionally and with a smile on their face. Room was perfect (220) but surprised there wasn't a fridge, although there was a power supply for one. Spa could do with a touch up plus a visit from a maintenance man and the stored cladding removed from the end of the pool. Overall great value for the money. We have reccomended family already and we will definitely be back.

The desk even had my quilt changed to a thinner one as I was too hot

Very good swimming pool and spa facilities my only little gripe was the temperature of the spa showers .... too cold for me to shower in I had to go to my room for a hot shower

I would also ask for a walk in shower in my room but all that aside I would definitely stay here again

We are currently staying here on a two day residential package.

So far everything has been excellent.

This is our first Christmas away from the family home. We have been well taken care of by all of the lovely team who are working here this Christmas including Muzzie, Mark and Paul.

We always enjoy our stay at yew lodge, staff are very pleasant. No doubt we will be back.

The staff were very friendly and nothing was to much trouble for them. The spa was also very good I had a facial and back neck shoulder massage , the lady I had was called Dana she was very good and professional throughout my treatments . The restaurant was also very good on the Friday of our arrival the food was outstanding but seemed to slip a little on the Saturday as they were very busy, but saying that I had a really relaxing weekend there and enjoyed myself

Spent the day there using the spa facilities. Staff were friendly and felt very relaxed using all of the spa. The treatments were lovely and very enjoyable and the lunch we had was nice as well. Would go there again and recommend it to others.

Visited with a group of girl friends on a deal for a 2 course dinner, bed & breakfast with Spa access. From the time that we arrived on Saturday to the departure on Sunday we were treated courteously and professionally.

The rooms and food were great, with a wide choice of options at dinner. The 'fat boy' breakfast certainly sets you up for the day.

The spa was very busy in the afternoon, but we made the most of our time there.

It would have been a 5* review but we appeared to have limited hot water available in our room

Just got back from a one night groupon deal. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were extremely welcoming and gave great service. The meal that was included as part of the deal was really nice but the size of the bruschetta portion was very small and when I complained about it to the waiter his response was to put it on my feedback which did not resolve my complaint. Better service would have been to offer something else but this did not happen.

The pool was cool which was perfect on a hot day. It was defiantly worth upgrading to a superior room as it was lovely. Great stay thank you.

Hotel building is beautuful and staff very helpful and friendly. Stayed for New Years Eve gala evening and overnight stay. Rooms very clean and nicely decorated. Was disappointed that swimming pool closed at 5pm and not open again until 10am so unable to use the facility as breakfast was until 10am and checkout by 11am. Breakfast in Marcos reataurant was very nice.

Staff, food and treatment was great however, rooms far too hot and smelt mouldy. Tables outside were not cleaned regularly, went to pool at 8am and there was a used plasters on side of pool from previous day. Showers on pool side didn't work properly and jacuzzi was far too hot (boiling point) and non of the buttons worked. Lots of half painted/plasteted walls and out of use lifts etc.... All in all a good time had but very tired and run down building.

Decent hotel with decent food, but bar food typically overpriced. Certain rooms very dated with no air con, which is pretty appalling this time of year. And a shame the only view when sitting anywhere outside is the car park!!

Stayed for a week end for a wedding. Hotel was clean that’s really the only good thing I have to say. The housekeeping staff were rude, the lift was constantly out of order and the room had a constant feces smell. 6 rooms for all the family but some were the opposite ends of the hotel. Not somewhere I would recommend anyone to get married
