Bestival is an award winning four-day boutique music festival set on the Lulworth Estate – an enchanting, wooded country estate on Dorset’s Jurassic Coast.
The wonderful world of Bestival was born out of ten fun years of pioneering music events and record releases from Rob da Bank’s Sunday Best empire. The renowned music specialist had a dream to create his vision of the modern-day festival. Along with Creative Director and wife Josie da Bank and co-founders /partners John and Ziggy from Get Involved that dream is now reality. On a mission to change the face of independent festival culture, the fearless foursome are spreading the love worldwide.
It’s Rob and Josie da Bank’s creative vision that sets Bestival apart. While the massive musical brain of Rob ensures the Bestival line-up is the most eclectic you’ll ever experience, it’s Josie’s creative wand that casts its magic over Bestival land. From the most original boutique campsite experience, to the Bollywood Tent, the incredible world of Caravanserai, fancy dress en masse and even a landlocked port, it’s this uniqueness that makes Bestival a wondrous world of discovery and adventure that will inspire peace, love and dancing not only in August, but all year round…

Sunday was the perfect end to Bestival 2018. We danced non-stop, MIA's performance blew us away and we were amazed by our Biggest Ever Finale! Can we do Bestival again next weekend please?!
OMG you Bestival beauties! Thank you so much for making Bestival 2018 the best one yet. You’ve all been so much fun! This year was the show we have always dreamed of putting on. It truly felt like the original boutique Bestival but with all the best treasures we have collected over the last 15 years. What a weekend, packed with all our favourite artists, venues, food, wellbeing and decor. And we have been blessed with the most beautiful weather🙏.
Team Bestival work so hard ...all year round and this weekend was testimony to all that hard work. So many magical moments have been created by this amazing team 😍. And this year we made a really big change behind the scenes to work with APL (the Ludford family) and they smashed it ❤️❤️❤️

We are aware that no matter how stringent our measures illegal substances can still make it into the festival and some festivalgoers may experiment with them. As part of our responsibility to Bestival-goers we have agreed to have The Loop on site to undertake independent multi-agency safety testing (MAST) and one-to-one drug consultations. Free MAST service will be available for all festivalgoers at THE LOOP tent next to Welfare (across from The Big Top) and will be open 11am-7pm daily.
