We’ve never been here before, but was recommended by somebody that’s been a few times. I must say we wasn't disappointed!

It was very busy, but we managed to get a table. We were greated by very friendly staff and served promptly. We had the three course meal for 13:95.

One of the nicest meals we’ve had for quite some time. Great value for money. We will definitely go again.

We always enjoy a meal at pierres, service is excellent, food is delicious and the atmosphere is always very relaxed, a very enjoyable experience whenever we go but yesterday i was made to feel very special when I was treated to a glass of champagne on the house to celebrate my birthday can't wait for our nect visit xx

This is a favourite eating place for us. The food is always good the staff friendly & efficient & I like that it's busy plenty going on.

User

The food is always excellent quality and value for money the atmosphere is very good as is the service you receive we went on Saturday lunch and were made to feel very welcome by the staff I highly recommend a visit

User

Only had to wait 10mins to be seated. We were looked after and served by some delightful young people.

The food was delicious. So the following day while in Derby we had lunch again at Bistrot Pierre and the food and service was equally as good there.

We will definitely be going again soon.

Nine of us went for a meal last night and all of us were extremely satisfied by the quality of the food...

My second visit here in the last 6 months and I can honestly say the food it excellent. We we’re a party of 6 and everyone’s food was fabulous. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to family and friends, the menu is excellent and good value for money 😃

Have been a few times and always enjoy it - was treating a friend to a birthday lunch. I’m vegetarian and really enjoyed the Gratin Méditerranéen my friend had the Haddock à la Béarnaise- she said it was delicious. The service was great - I love that the waiters are attentive but don’t keep popping over to ask if everything is ok Good food great value

User

Great food I can’t fault the food and we was seated straight away. We didn’t have to wait long for food. We did have to wait a little while for the bill once we told Alice who was the waitress I think she forgot, so we told another and she got it straight away. The only thing I’m not keen on is how close the tables are to each other, you hardly have any room and as I can’t bend my knees very well I need my chair to stick out a bit but! I didn’t want anyone to trip so I sat closer to the table which aches my knees a lot. But! I like this please and they do great steak

Friday lunchtime. Fast efficient unobtrusive service. Friendly staff. Portion size for starter was small. We both had braised beef which I thought was an adequate size accompanied by veg. Chocolate brownie was to die for. Fantastic value I thought. I really enjoyed the whole experience. I was full by the end! Definitely will return.

User

Excellent from entry to exit, met with a smile shown to our table and drinks order taken straight away, food order taken as soon as the drinks were bought to the table, roast beef was cooked to perfection as was all the trimmings, certainly a place i would recommend,

A lovely lunch time meal no negatives, gets very busy so best to be there for 12ish if you dont want to be dissapointed, lovely staff and nothing is rushed

User

We were there last night as a surprise 50th for myself.

We had a private room and there was 12 of us.

Most food had been preordered as with it being a Friday night they were very busy so wanted to ensure we had all our meals almost together.

The manager and all waiting staff were very good, attentive but not over bearing.

The food was excellent, yes as mentioned elsewhere portions were not big but the amount was just right given we had 3 courses each and quality is better than quantity at a nice restaurant like this.

Overall we were very well looked after and catered for and it was a very pleasant surprise.

Booked for my daughter's 21 birthday meal will 11 people attending. Food was great we had the early offer which has plenty of variety to choose from. My only down side were the drinks. They only serve beer in bottles and the kronenbourg I had was £3.50 for a 275ml bottle 1/2 pint!!! The coke was in a thin long glass which my daughter's drank in seconds. Great food good service but they need to review the drinks they provide. Will come again.

This was a first visit so here goes - The food was good but small portions. When shown to our table the menus were more or less thrown onto the table which was a bit off-putting - perhaps it's just there way of doing it. It was nice to receive a complimentary basket of bread but my friend asked if there was any gluten-free and got a sharp 'no' as a reply. The service of the meals was relatively quick even though they were very busy. We weren't overly thrilled with our visit and decided not to tip but, when my friend went to pay, the gentleman put the money in the till and walked away without giving her any change. She was embarrassed to stand waiting for him to open the till and give her the change. However, the place has a lovely atmosphere so we might call in and check it out again sometime.

Excellently fast service tonight. 3 course meal - in and out in less than an hour and a half. Not saying we felt rushed but have felt less pressured in McDonald's. Starters were good , mains a bit hit and miss with the veg in varying states of cookedness. Cheese board had been left out so long that my daughter thought the cheddar was parmesan and the brie was crusty. Oh and a slight mistake on the bill. Somehow someone forgot that it was only a set menu and dishes all charged individually. Only a couple of quid but for every table that would soon add up. Bettina the waitress was excellent and everything was quickly remedied. Still left feeling as though there had been a few too many niggles to class it as a pleasant experience.

Came last night for Bastille night, set menu £29PP Not much choice, food very average, hot plate for cold starter not good, no sauce with the steaks, no French mustard in a French restaurant???

Pudding was OK. No air conditioning it must have been 35 degrees in the restaurant....... Not great!

User

We were in a room as it was for a 60th birthday. Very poor service although we only had a two hour window for our meal, it took them hour and a half to bring starters! My food wasn't very hot and the burger was black! However we did complain and all starters and drinks we had they didn't charge

User

Although the food was good, the service was poor. Even though we had to pre-order the food, as there were 9 of us, it was very slow. The staff were grumpy and at times rude. The waiter spilled wine whilst pouring a glass, and didn’t even acknowledge he had done it.
