As we lock up at the end of another busy week, we feel blessed to be the custodians of this beautiful building. We have met so many lovely people this week, including the family of the proprietors in the 1920/1930’s - a family picture still hangs on the wall of the bar today! Our summer menu (Monday to Saturday), plus daily specials. "The best chips I have had in 18 years" - a customer on Thursday. Choice of two roasts on Sunday, plus specials.

We had an overnight stay here earlier this week - absolutely fantastic! The room was large, comfortable and clean with patio doors onto the garden. Our host was very welcoming. Breakfast was lovely. Wish we could have stayed longer. Will definitely be back!

One of the first to stay since it has been refurbished and I have to say it’s very impressive! Great hosts, spacious rooms and delicious breakfast �

Fabulous food! Perfect Sunday lunch, especially as the boys ate for free! Gorgeous setting, love the decor and the staff are so friendly. Will be coming back soon for another meal at this fabulous pub.
