Urinary incontinence - The Taboo!
Ok, so 7 million UK women suffer with bladder weakness and yet it’s very rarely spoken about and most women accept it as a way of life!
We invite you to our event on Tuesday 31st July 6pm onwards and join in or listen to our discussion on the types of bladder weakness, also known as incontinence, and explain ways in which we can overcome this embarrassing condition.
... There will be an opportunity for you to experience our HIFEM technology which triggers intense pelvic floor muscle contractions by targeting the neuromuscular tissue - resulting in stimulating the entire (100%) pelvic floor area.
This is a non invasive solution for patients, who remain fully clothed during therapy.
In just 28mins, 11,200 contractions occur which is the equivalent of performing 11,200 (correctly done) Kegel exercises - but remember our therapy stimulates 100% of the entire pelvic floor area as opposed to 40% when done alone.
Different experiences of bladder weakness include:
PHYSICAL AGEING Due to the physical effects of ageing on the urinary system, the elderly can often experience a disruption in the process of storing urine and emptying the bladder. Less elasticity can reduce the bladder’s capacity and lead to a more frequent need to urinate; whilst the kidneys can become less efficient at concentrating urine with age, resulting in a higher volume entering the bladder.
MENOPAUSE The menopause reduces the quantity of oestrogen within the abdominal muscles, which can lead to a particular type of bladder weakness known as stress incontinence. This refers to a slight leak of urine, usually a few drops, which can occur when sneezing, coughing or laughing.
STRESS This involuntary leakage of urine is caused by acts of physical exertion such as coughing, sneezing or laughing, and is often connected to a weakening of the pelvic floor muscles. Stress incontinence will usually only cause a small amount of urine to leak, however it is important to note that heavier leakage may be experienced if the bladder is full at the time of exertion.
URGE INCONTINENCE The second most common form of bladder weakness experienced by women is brought on by a sudden and urgent need to urinate. This occurs when the muscles in the wall of the bladder contract involuntarily, overcoming the resistance offered by the pelvic floor muscles and sphincter, forcing large amounts of urine out.
For many women, stress and urge incontinence can co-exist and this is referred to as mixed incontinence.

Louise is very friendly and knowledgeable and makes you feel very relaxed. I loved my 2 treatments 1 fat freeze and 1 melt on my stomach and even just with 1 of each I could see a difference. I will definitely be having more, and recommending Body Lipo to my friends.

I had my first session yesterday! I felt really nervous as I hate showing my body but Louise was so lovely she made me feel at ease straight away and explained everything really well to Me! I had a course of 8 cavitation on my stomach area with a bit of skin tightening... and it was well worth being patient for. Very happy with my new tummy. I had a fat freeze as well on the same area. I’d like a course on my legs though I think my thighs might be more stubborn as the fat is hard and a bit more cellulitey... but that’s why they need the boost!! Louise explained that the fat cells are broken down instantly with each session- so I wanted to burn up the broken down fats and did have regular work outs (2-3 times a week) all in all -im very happy! A great kick start. I feel much more confident. ��
