Wow ..breathtaking views ..well maintained sight ..very relaxing ,everything you need for a chill out few days ..shower facilities ..a shared kitchen to get to know fellow guests ..Ian and Catherine are really nice ..would help you out ,and are such fun too.would highly recommended this wonderful Jewel in the Derbyshire crown..well worth the stay ..thank-you so much .we are definitely coming back xx

What a beautiful and tranquil hidden gem...This was our first time glamping and Scalderstitch farm has exceeded our expections from the beautiful decorated Tipi with hot tubs over looking the stunning countryside to the beautiful well thought out dining and washing facilities. Very easy walking routes to the surrounding villages. We have truly loved celebrating our 21st wedding anniversary here and we will be back. We stayed here 18\19 May 2018.. Best Glamping experience for 22 excited Hen's at my Sister Mel's Hen Party. Very warm welcome....BBQ & Barn all set up with table and chairs. Tippee Tents were 6* with Hot tub�.... very eco friendly as burns from logs. Only neighbours were our hosts Ian & Katherine with 2 pet goats and a cat. Beautiful people so friendly. We would all recommend Scalderditch farm to family's, ,couples, groups and singles. Tish Bailey.

We have had a brilliant stay at Scaldersitch Farm and are already telling anyone who will listen how great it was! The attention to detail was evident everywhere- from the handmade soaps, to the helpful walking guides and the toasting marshmallows! The beds were extremely warm and cosy and the bell tent was beautifully furnished. The washrooms were particularly luxurious and the barn- equipped with a fridge filled with yummy breakfast items, as well as a beautiful dining table- meant we were very comfortable even when we were eating! Our hosts were so lovely and made sure we were happy throughout our stay (which we were!) Thanks once again- would highly recommend.

Catherine and Ian were more then accommodating for the entire weekend we were there.

A gorgeous site with all the little touches that didn’t go unnoticed.

The barn space was just what I was looking for catering perfectly for the 22 of us to enjoy activities etc, and the wash rooms were just fab.

Highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a weekend/couple of days away as a couple, with friends or as a large group.

Simply amazing !!!! I attended this site for my best friends hen do and we had the most amazing time. From arranging the hen do for 22 girls (can be rather stressful) the hosts made the experience easy and stress free .

The site itself was immaculate and of a high standard .

Ian was always on hand to help with any dilemmas such as lighting the hot tub/prepping the bbq or watching England in the quarter finals !!! He kindly allowed us to watch his tv in the garden ��.

We had a yoga lady on site for an hour and then a pizza pop up shop with the most delightful pizzas .

I would recommend this site for large groups with either friends or family’s .

The only downside was mobile phone reception was poor and the WiFi did struggle with 22 ladies fighting to upload photos onto social media ��.

Overall it was a perfect weekend and can’t wait to go back again �

Catherine was on hand throughout the organising phase to answer any questions I had and to suggest some activities . Both were around over the weekend to check we had everything we needed. Just returned from a lovely weekend here! Arrived a little late but the owners had both fires lit ready for us- which was appreciated in the cold, rainy weather! Really friendly and welcoming. Lovely setting and the tipi was extremely cosy. Would definitely return.

Just returned from a hen do weekend and I was blown away with the place. The place was spotless and the hot tubs were amazing. The showers and toilets were also gorgeous but most of all the couple who run the site were just amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they catered for every additional thing we needed from sugar syrup to a slow cooker! I can't recommend this place enough! Just beautiful and worth every penny �

The setting is gorgeous and the tipis and yurts were beautiful. Then there's the wood fired hot tubs....fabulous! The kitchen/dining area provides a great space for gathering, eating, drinking and dancing....it had everything we needed.



My hens were really kind and treated me to a massage with Natasha onsite, it was in the beautiful, rustic barn - really relaxing and a perfect treat after a weekend of hen do shenanigans.



I would highly recommend a stay here, whether for a group weekend away or a romantic getaway or even a family trip.....it's a 10/10 from me!

I was lucky enough to be invited to a hen do this last weekend (June 2018) at the lovely scaldersitch farm.

I have never camped or glamped in my adult life so was a little nervous but it was absolutely wonderful.

Ian & Catherine had literally thought of every little detail from hot water bottles and blankets to utensils and Crockery, wood for the fires in the teepees, yurts & hot tubs, even paper plates if we wanted to avoid washing up.

We were gifted a gorgeous farm pack with bread milk etc & all essentials were there too.

We arranged flower crown making & yoga and visited the Manifold Inn which was less than a 20 minute walk.

A delightful weekend, ample parking, beautiful location, lovely owners 10 out of 10 for keeping 21 girls happy and will definitely come back.

Had a great time here for my friend's hen party, despite the awful weather! Ian was there on arrival and throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed (including getting us extra bits of food when we ran out!) and the breakfast hamper was fantastic - more than enough for our party of 21! The tents were incredibly cute and the beds surprisingly comfy, and we were all really impressed with the bathrooms.



Despite the rain we managed to brace the hot tubs and once the sun came out could enjoy the beautiful surroundings as well! When the rain did set in for the night we found the barn perfect for food, drinks and dancing, and it just about fit us all in with a bit of room to spare. The cooking equipment is basic but more than what you would expect for camping!



We also hired the Fresh Wood Fired Kitchen company for our first night who know the site well and provide delicious pizza.



Communication with Catherine and Ian both before and after the event was great, even when we needed to add an extra person on last minute. Overall an great weekend, I would highly recommend this site.



One last thing...there is a very friendly goat and cat that kept making appearances and just topped off the weekend!
