We visited yesterday to buy some bison ... We bought fillet steaks and a joint for Xmas just had the steaks I am now so excited for Xmas dinner .. Quite possibly the best steak I've ever had xx
We Went to through the gate for a hearty breakfast and that's just what We got. Proper Lincolnshire sausage nice thick cuts of bacon with all the trimmings. Really enjoyed and will definitely be returning to sample other goodies on the menu
Sunday lunch was excellent , atmosphere brilliant and food outstanding ,well done to team Bison .
Such a lovely mother’s day breakfast for all my family. Food was perfect, relaxed atmosphere, great coffee and huge pots of tea ! Apple juice fresh from a village near by and all mums left with a beautiful plant. Definitely recommend
Stayed here last night. Ruth and George were both really welcoming - cup of tea on arrival at the big farmhouse kitchen table- lovely!
Our en suite room was beautifully decorated and immaculate and was in the old part of the house which was full of character. To in bedroom and also the guest lounge, but we didn't need those...
Entertained by our hosts tales of their bison and deer antics-such very different stories to tell- there's a book in there somewhere!
I had to be up early and was very grateful that my breakfast was ready at 6 as requested. Time to hear about the apple pies Ruth makes.
Would have been lovely to stay a bit longer and have a tour of the farm but itinerary didn't permit this time.

Popped in on Sunday for a light bite and was very impressed with the service and friendly manner and helpfulness of all the staff. Will definitely be back, oh and the food was superb.
Great friendly farm accommodation with friendly owners , fantastic breakfast.

Fantastic breakfast this morning, thank you Ruth. Such a wonderful homely place, amazing menu, picked up some steaks for supper too. I would Recommend the cafe to anyone. (See you next week!!)
Discovered this wonderful cafe on my travels in Leicestershire yesterday. I was made so welcome by Ruth and it was lovely to hear all about the farm and the local area. The brownie I had was delicious too! I hope I will go back in the future and would love to try the B&B! 👍🌟👍🌟
