Bray House Vets

We have used Bray House for approx 15 years. They are compassionate and will do/try anything to help your pet whilst being honest at the same time. Our last dog Bruce would not have lasted as long as he did had he not received the excellent care of the vets here. Will always use them; don't be tempted to use the cheap vet that have plastered Melton in advertising, you wont get the service like you do at Bray House - our pets are worth it!

Visited this practice today with a poorly cat. From the initial phone call to them, to arriving in reception ;the staff were amazing. Craig the vet on duty was a miracle worker. The best veterinary practice I have ever dealt with. I might also like to add, excellent value for money. Thank you. Your dedication was truly appreciated today.

Took my Hugo (an African Pygmy hedgehog) to have his nails clipped. They were amazing with him and very patient too � fab service given!

Took my German shepherd Inca for treatment for a horrible hotspot. The vets and vet nurses are fantastic. I would highly recommend the team here without reservation. I would like to thank you for your kindness to my fur baby and for helping me to look after her post treatment. I am very grateful.

This vet has been the best I’ve ever used, and I’ve tried several. The prices are reasonable, but most importantly, they see you quickly. I had an emergency with a chicken recently and they had me come in straight away. We were sorted and out the door quickly and the staff are always fantastic. I couldn’t recommend them more.

The team here are kind, compassionate and genuinely caring. Vets like the ones at this practice are hard to come by and I am grateful to them for being honest and not money grabbers. Old fashioned values and most importantly you can trust them. 5 stars from me, Thank you Rosie & Hollie for being great with Poppy, it’s appreciated.

Recently moved my animals here after my cat was showing no improvement at the last vets. She is getting there slowly now and will hopefully be back to her old self soon. I would recommend this vets

Lovely staff, very kind and thoughtful. I have been with Bray House Vets since they first came to Grantham and my pets have always been well cared for. Couldn't ask for a better group of people looking after my family members.

I was recommended your surgery by a work colleague & I can honestly & truly say I loved the care my puppy got at your surgery, lovely caring & friendly staff :-)))). I then changed my elderly German shepherd to you's also, she visited once & my partner said the vet was lovely, she was on the floor fussing her & he said she was amazing & so caring to our lovely old girl, but only a couple of weeks later on Christmas eve 2013 she had an accident @ home where she damaged her back, rang around the vets as my poor girl was in so much pain, we wanted her to be seen as soon as possible, we had to leave phone messages, as it was out of hours, you's rang u's back to then to be told we had to take her to Nottingham, I hadn't realised this, we were told if it's an emergency we would have to take her to Nottingham or Melton Mowbray, Nottingham was on call that night, my partner had to drive Skye to Nottingham at around 9pm, we made her as comfortable as we could for her trip in the car, I couldn't believe she had to go all that way with a damaged back, unable to walk or stand, it makes me feel very very sad & guilty that this is what we had to do to her, I still remember the pain in her eyes, she knew, I cried said my goodbyes, but prayed she would be ok & come home, but I knew deep down she wouldn't be coming home, once there our 12- 1/2yr old Skye had to be put to sleep RIP Skye, love & miss you xxxxxxx. This has me now questioning what to do with my puppy, I really don't want to move him, I was just wondering are you in the future going to be changing the way this emergency service works, maybe something like what the GP's do, an out of hours at one "local" base or even having your own vet on call in emergencies , I'm really really hoping I get a reply I'm hoping to here Thankyou x

I love Bray house they helped my cat Cassie to get better and they never gave up but then we took my cat back because she was eating and they tryed their best and she passed away in sleep we r very grateful what u did u r amazing and have to be the number 1 vets what u did to try to save my cat u r amazing and Cassie will never forget u thank u

Couldn't have wished for better treatment of our beautiful babies.

Been taking my 2 dogs here for years the staff are always pleasant and anything is not too much trouble for them i would recommend Bray House to anyone with pets .

An excellent VP. Caring , efficient and have always been available on the day and time we needed. Compared to where we used to live in Bucks, pricing is also very good,. I couldnt recommend more highly for their care and honest advice.

After a really bad experience at another veterinary practice in Grantham, we switched to Bray and we have been really pleased with the care they've shown. Every vet we've seen so far has been great. We feel like they treat our pets as they would their own. The one disadvantage of the switch is having to travel to Lincoln for out of hours care but the switch has been worth it

Absolutely fantastic vets. The best veterinary practice in my opinion. The devotion that is shown to all pets, big and small is incredible. If it wasn't for the hard work of the vets here our dog wouldn't be here today. Thank you for all you do and continue to do.

Absolutely fantastic service today. My old boy had his teeth cleaned and I couldn't have been happier with the treatment he received. It was a bargain price too with it being dental month. I transferred Jack over recently from my old vets, as Bray House looked after him so well following an emergency appointment, and I wish I'd done it sooner!

Seen 3 different vets, two if them were great, understanding and patient. The other one was the opposite, didn't seem to care that my dog was clearly uncomfortable and then had the cheek to tell me I should have spayed her before her season! Even though she is a nervous girl who wasn't fully developed. When this was mentioned she said all behaviour problems can be easily fixed after spaying! This has put me off the vets completely. I wish I knew the vets name as she clearly needs training in behaviour before making such ridiculous comments! The other two vets we have seen were lovely and though again one seemed pushy about spaying they were understanding when we gave our reasons x

Couldn’t fault the care for my animals. But Iv had to move them to another vets. As I found the owner was extremely rude and had me in tears. Not the way you speak to paying customers especially when their cat is poorly.
