You show me a better place for lunch and a coffee in Lady Bay and I'll show you a liar.

Great food, amazing service, a dog and Lionel Richie on the playlist. I moved a bit of a distance away but still come down as often as I can. Definitely the place to go in Lady Bay

User

We happened upon Bread & Butterflies quite inadvertantly, during this year's Lady Bay Art's Festival. I have to say "the experience was enchanting".

The food is contemporary and delicious, the choice is fresh, the venue well appointed, the service is friendly, and the proprietors are absolutely lovely.

I really recommend seeking out this delightful place.

This is a really sweet Cafe in Lady Bay run by twin sisters Lisa and Lindsey. They do a lovely selection of cakes and teas as well as sandwiches and other good stuff. They have a great eye for detail and have lots of crafty stuff for sale that they make too. It's also dog friendly, so get yourself down soon. Oh and I've heard a rumour they're selling fresh baked goods and bread at the weekends too!

User

This is THE best cafe I have been to. The sisters who own it are lovely. Oh I can't forget Lenny the dog (my new best friend). Great value and great drinks/food. The decor also looks great, plus they sell vegan/cruelty free soaps etc. Well worth a visit!

User

Thank you to Lisa and Lindsey at Bread and Butterflies for our beautiful wedding cake. You created a work of art that was perfect for us, such skill and passion in what you do. Everybody commented on how amazing the cake looked. Thank you.

Popped in with my two toddlers last week on spare of the moment. Really friendly staff and gave my children slate chalk boards to use while waiting for our order. Great prices, food selection and attention to detail. Friendly little dog that just adds to the lovely homely feel. My three year old was impressed by the cleanliness of the loos! Will def pop back next time we are in the area. Thank you.

User

Lovely relaxed unique space. The coffee was great. The carrot cake some of the best I've ever had. But it's the quirky touches - craft for sale, blind date book, proper music and the fact the girl serving genuinely wanted me to be 100% happy that make it stand out. Would recommend anyone to skip the faceless chains for better coffee, cake and service.

User

Lovely gluten free cake and coffee. Love all the crafts for sale in the tea room. Thinking about the beautiful blue jumper for sale, a great excuse to go back and sample more delicious cake!!!

User

I'm in love with this place! The atmosphere is always happy and relaxed, service is impeccable and the food is beyond delectable. If that wasn't enough the handcrafted and bespoke gift selection is extremely attractive! Boasting cushions, photo frames, crockery and more. Seductively stylish homeware in other words! You will also find my aroma-therapeutic, organic and cruelty-free skincare range (@cherryessentials) here, so feel free to sample it over a nice cup of tea and a slice of cake! Go on, treat yourself ;-) x

User

I would highly recommend not only the food and service but also the hand made gifts, I have given to friends and family personalised thermal mugs, mugs and now tea coasters on their way and everyone has loved the hand crafted gifts thank you :)

User

I walked in and asked if they did take out. Straight away they made my father and I feel very welcoming. They were both lovely and friendly and the Sandwich was so tasty. I would 100% recommend this place to eat in or take out! I will certainly be back to taste those cakes and buy a few gifts, which I found out are all handmade by the two ladies too. Well done to you both, you have an amazing setting! Xx

User

I have been here a few times and have just been for a lovely afternoon tea as part of a hen party all staff made us very welcome and went the extra mile to make it even more special! Thank you x

User

Huge thank you to Lisa and Linsey for hosting Tara's Angels charity event yesterday, you were brill!

User

Great babycino, which is how I tend to rate cafes these days! Also good coffee and incredibly good chocolate cake. I work locally and can also recommend the sandwiches. Want to add that they are very accommodating of babies and the inevitable baggage they come with! Although I think Lenny looks forward to clearing up after them!

User

Excellent little gem of a tea room. Really pleasant service by two charming young ladies, gave us just what we asked for and popped back to ensure that it was to our liking, it was. We hope to be back as soon as we can have an excuse to go to Nottingham!

User

Beautiful cakes and menu, with a friendly service and dog friendly....perfection!

User

As a relative coffee newbie, I am happy to say that this is the best latte (and I've tried quite a few!) It's all in the foam as well as the presentation! Highly recommend for fellow latte aficionados and Lovely friendly service too.

User

After visiting Bread and Butterflies for afternoon tea with a large group of friends and us all being really impressed with the selection, particularly the gluten and dairy free afternoon tea options, I asked Lisa and Lindsey if they would make a gluten and dairy free cake for my wedding last Saturday. I didn't want a traditional wedding cake and Lisa and Lindsey exceeded my expectations. The cake fitted in with our colour scheme of blush pink, fuchsia pink and cream perfectly and all the guests said that it tasted amazing and couldn't tell it was gluten or dairy free. It was also great value for money. Thank you very much Lisa and Lindsey.

User

A lovely quaint tea room, staff are very friendly and helpful. My friend and I had a freshly made delicious lunch and a refreshing cup of tea. The cakes are divine and with the aroma of fresh coffee it just made our afternoon a pleasure. Well worth a visit, we will be going back very soon.
