Wow....lovely meal, helpful friendly staff....and so much choice! Suffering from coeliacs you get used to one or two choices but here there was no such restriction!

Went here with my fiancé on Friday night and couldn’t fault it. Lovely food and friendly staff..Would defo visit again 💜

Took our grandson there for lunch on Thursday he's 11 years old and he chose a typical meal for his age group, he was a bit miffed because the play area was closed for maintenance. But he was quoted to say he liked it there because everyone spoke to him after he'd eaten his meal our waitress came over and said as he'd eaten all his lunch he could now go and play which was now open, she made him feel very special. For what we paid I can only say the 3 of us had a very nice meal and the staff were excellent well deserved 5 stars ty

Phoned day before to ensure table for 14 available after family attended funeral at Crematorium next door. Upon arrival, shown to reserved tables. The staff member on duty couldn't have been more attentive - had a very good attitude. Set up tab and ordered food & drinks all served in good time. Would return.

Great food well presented and served in good time. Accommodated our requests for slight changes to the actual menu meal...ie: swapping salad for beans, chips for sweet potato fries, no dressing on my salad, extra mayo on the side. Staff very attentive and friendly.

First time here today food was lovely good portion size for children our daughter enjoyed her dinner and pudding only downside is lack of choice with dessert will defo be returning

Came here for my son's birthday dinner...he had chicken and rib combo..all ok except he thought could do with bit more BBQ sauce over both meats, I had fish and chips, it was fine but had wanted giant haddock and chips but told there wasn't any even though we were quite early diners! My daughter had coronation chicken salad and loved it but the original salad she wanted wasn't available either unfortunately. My husband had the ultimate burger meal but said afterwards it was not a very good burger...but staff seemed friendly and no probs with service just think you may need to work on the menu a bit and keep an eye on ordering enough stock.

It tasted better than it looked! The new potatoes had obviously been cooked and kept warm a while, the quiche tasted nice but looked dry and i have never seen such a poor looking side salad. I enjoyed a catch up with family but not impressed with your standard of quality of food. If your not doing the saladbowl any more- take it off the menu!

I echo most of the comments here it's slow dirty tables food all over the menus. Last night I pointed out the vinegar bottle on the table had a bed of silt in it. Was told they check them regularly. What I don't understand is why someone in senior management is not reading these reviews and doing something about It? Answer. They are getting enough revenue from those people who stay at the hotel. May never come back. But there is always someone else to fill that room tomorrow! If this was a stand alone restaurant it would fail.

Had breakfast there. Could have been warmer, not the best considering the price but not the worst. Probably won't stop there again

Had a Sunday carvery here. The meal was fine, not quite like a proper pub Sunday lunch but no complaints at all.

Giant Yorkshire pudding filled with sausages, mash and peas. Giant yorkie yes! Filled with all those?? No. 3 tiny sausages, 1 scoop of mash and a handful of peas. Nearly £10! Was looking forward to this. Won't be back again .

Came here for lunch with four friends,the staff were very accomading as always,but unfortunately I didn't feel the meal was up to standard,considering I had a Main meal,£8.99,the portion was very small,didn't even cover the centre of the plate...The gammon was small and quite a piece of fat at one end...didn't encourage me to want to come back.

We stay at quite a few Premier inns thoughout the year so have visited quite a few Brewers Fayre and must admit not on par with others. Long wait to be served, toilets were terrible no toilets seats and not clean. So will not be booking a return next year.

The bar staff need to know how to serve people waiting at the bar first and two other people get served first ( what’s that about ) also changed driNks order from two pints to three she was not happy ����

Fathers day menu finished at 6pm. No mention of this when booking online. Staff said carvery closed, yet staff behind carvery thought it was still serving as there were lots of Yorkshire pudding, vegetables and meat. They would not even reconsider even though we'd booked and not just turned up. No carvery after 6pm!! Why when there was plenty there? Do they throw it away or save it for another day? Went to another similar establishment where they were quite happy to serve!

Came here for Santa Pod (place we usually stay in was fully booked and ended up here). Travel Lodge itself lovely. However, the food at Brewers Fayre seriously let the place down. We booked a table for our 1st night. We had to go to the bar to order our food so why did we bother booking? Starters came and they were good. Main meals came and they were awful. The veggie burger warm and no flavour. My friend order the katsu chicken curry - don't bother. We also booked a table for breakfast the following morning. No veggie sausages. Fried eggs over cooked and dry. Scrambled eggs just bought out by staff cold. Hash browns luke warm as were the mushrooms. Would not recommend for food at all. The staff were lovely and friendly. Would recommend for the beer. Building needs new decor and some attention.

Booked here for a family meal last night on arrival was very busy but as week booked a table this was ready on our arrival.

Seated quickly and drinks order given waited approximately 15mins for this to arrive then we did our food order this arrive and the the mains myself and my daughter order should of come with skinny fries but we got over cooked thick chips asked why our order was wrong and the waitresses said did we want skinny fries too not we wanted them on our original order. Service was slow from the time we got there we only had 2 drinks all night and my son has type 1 diabetes and we ordered him a Diet Pepsi and on both occasions he was give full fat Pepsi by the waitress which if wasn't detected could of led to serious medical issues later on that evening with high blood sugars !!

We was going to order pudding but as service was slow we decided to leave and over heard the waitress on the table behind us apologising to the family behind as they forgot to make their starters and was bringing out their mains first and did the was the starters cooking and coming out too !!

Over all my first time here won't be rushing back any time soon

Been here many times over the years but this was prob the worst visit ever. Came for a family birthday with 10 people. Some dinners took over 35 mins to appear. One not at all until we asked twice. The dinners where barely hot too. To top it off the gents toilet floor was flooding. I pointed this out to staff after taking my 4 year old toilet. Over an hour later on revisit it was in the same state. God know what we walked through. The play area was unsafe too with the safety mesh having a hole in it with kids getting through and climbing on the back end of the play area and on top of the tunnel. Staff don't seem bothered about this or clearing tables.

Won't be back lost a customer, probably nothing to them but the lack of customer service is unbelievable charging a one year to stand a buffet queue oh he can't, because he was eating from my plate he can't feed him self what so ever. HE IS ONE YEAR OLD. So yes you've lost a customer and probably a few more now I have told people how disgusting the reaction of this managers face with that smirk. No one has ever charged me normally the staff are awesome but thank the guy with a smirk, we did have further bookings but now cancelled them so thank that guy.

Went before Christmas with 3 friends, 7 children and a baby. Service was atrocious. Mains of ones with no starter arrived with others starters. Waited an hour for desserts to arrive after being told we hadn't received them only to have half still missing. Which when told arrived 15 minutes later. No plates collected in that time, no apology and manager wasn't any use as said she can't do anything about it when we complained. An apology would of gone a long way.

We ate here today with our two children it was diabolical the children had the meatballs and pasta wich was all dried up and they said it was gross my husband had the gormet burger wich is supposed to contain two 1/4 pound steak burgers they were thin grey looking and disgusting nothing like described in the menus his chips were Pale and undercooked I had lamb shank mash and green beans I was shocked at the tiny portion for over 11 pounds one small spoon of mash a few dried up green beans and a greasy lamb shank that tasted of nothing I will not recommend and certainly will never return .

Very poor first time going there dinner was fast we waited for our deserts we waited 30mins and no one was coming they took away the dinner plates they didn't even ask if we would like our puddings now i went to the till to get money back they said did you ask to get the desserts it's not my job to ask that was higher up then normal staff saying that to me.

Very disappointed in the length of time we had to wait they did not allocated us a table for 45 minutes then we had to go to bar to book food to be told that we had to wait another 40 minutes before we would get are food as results we only had main course and no deserts

The Sunday dinner is overpriced for such a poor quality meal. The roast potatoes were in edible and the mash was out of a packet now what you expect for 9.99 a head. The soup was like dish water with no flavour. Such a shame as good location if the food was improved the place wouldn't be empty during Sunday lunch! Glad we had a voucher from winning a Facebook competition won't be returning

Starters and main brought out at the same time meaning no room on the table to eat and our mains were cold by the time we got to them. Child's fish bits had large bones in it. Onion rings, chips, sausages, peas, beef and stuffing all over done. And to top it all a nice long hair in the meal! Just awful.

Fair play did offer us refund but still....

Restaurant, area around our table and play area was dirty. Food was tasty but lukewarm and no one cleared our table between courses. We brought a birthday cake and they brought it out still in the box :-(

Popped in for lunch with partner, son and grandson. Grandsons food was fine.... every other meal got sent back as all stone cold..... returned and one ‘ok’ other 2..... one burger rock hard and other a total different thing to original order..... returned again...... salads look like sat there a week! place just seems a shambles. Need a good refurb and total ‘kick up the arse’

Ordered 3 burgers all came out cold.... 2nd time they came out my burger was fine.... My mums was burnt and my stepdads was the wrong burger completely.... sent my stepdads back and they bought out the correct burger but massively over done.... at least my nephews food was fine first time! The floor staff were helpful with everything and extremely apologetic! Perhaps the kitchen staff need a talking to.....

Oh dear! Food not good. I had chilli which was very small portion for an adult and was more beans than meat. We were served starters and main meal at same time so had to send Main back. Floor areas not kept clean as food under our table from previous customers.

Toilets had paper all around floor both inside and outside of toilets .

Sorry to say I will not be returning.

Normally an alright pub but have been in this afternoon and was disgusted as a senior member of staff at another local resturaunt. Almost every table was dirty in the resturaunt and bar area. Kids running riot and no sign of any staff attempting to tidy up. However there was 2 staff on the bar and 3 managers just standing at the door. All staff rude except from one male manager who seemed new, with long hair. Not very good at all and won't be returning anymore. Normally visit Premier inns as my first choice for travel and this is by far the worst.

Had to wait 90 minutes for our food whilst visiting with 5 children. Manager and staff was very rude!

Fucking terrible, my mates little boys 1st birthday, to be fair I was one of the last to order but I sat and watched everyone eat before asking for my money back when it was 'jus coming'? What's the point i don't want to sit on my own eating but I had to as I was reduced to going McDonald's on my way home, would of give you all this shit in person had it not been for the kids I was there with, fuck you telford lodge�

Came yesterday for my son's 1st birthday. Was appalled by service I understand its christmas and you have party's on but if you can't cope with the amount of customers maybe you should just do a set menu, hour wait after we ordered noone told us when we ordered how long we would wait. Place is absolute filthy high chair was dirty I actually had to clean it before my son could eat. Refused to let him play in kids area as it was that bad. Then when the food came it wasn't fresh it was over cooked and cold. My son's pasta looked like a value ready meal from a super market. Don't recommend and certainly wont be returning.

Giant Yorkshire pudding filled with sausages, mash and peas. Giant yorkie yes! Filled with all those?? No. 3 tiny sausages, 1 scoop of mash and a handful of peas. Nearly £10! Was looking forward to this. Won't be back again .

Came here for lunch with four friends,the staff were very accomading as always,but unfortunately I didn't feel the meal was up to standard,considering I had a Main meal,£8.99,the portion was very small,didn't even cover the centre of the plate...The gammon was small and quite a piece of fat at one end...didn't encourage me to want to come back.

We stay at quite a few Premier inns thoughout the year so have visited quite a few Brewers Fayre and must admit not on par with others. Long wait to be served, toilets were terrible no toilets seats and not clean. So will not be booking a return next year.

The bar staff need to know how to serve people waiting at the bar first and two other people get served first ( what’s that about ) also changed driNks order from two pints to three she was not happy ����

Fathers day menu finished at 6pm. No mention of this when booking online. Staff said carvery closed, yet staff behind carvery thought it was still serving as there were lots of Yorkshire pudding, vegetables and meat. They would not even reconsider even though we'd booked and not just turned up. No carvery after 6pm!! Why when there was plenty there? Do they throw it away or save it for another day? Went to another similar establishment where they were quite happy to serve!

Came here for Santa Pod (place we usually stay in was fully booked and ended up here). Travel Lodge itself lovely. However, the food at Brewers Fayre seriously let the place down. We booked a table for our 1st night. We had to go to the bar to order our food so why did we bother booking? Starters came and they were good. Main meals came and they were awful. The veggie burger warm and no flavour. My friend order the katsu chicken curry - don't bother. We also booked a table for breakfast the following morning. No veggie sausages. Fried eggs over cooked and dry. Scrambled eggs just bought out by staff cold. Hash browns luke warm as were the mushrooms. Would not recommend for food at all. The staff were lovely and friendly. Would recommend for the beer. Building needs new decor and some attention.

Booked here for a family meal last night on arrival was very busy but as week booked a table this was ready on our arrival.

Seated quickly and drinks order given waited approximately 15mins for this to arrive then we did our food order this arrive and the the mains myself and my daughter order should of come with skinny fries but we got over cooked thick chips asked why our order was wrong and the waitresses said did we want skinny fries too not we wanted them on our original order. Service was slow from the time we got there we only had 2 drinks all night and my son has type 1 diabetes and we ordered him a Diet Pepsi and on both occasions he was give full fat Pepsi by the waitress which if wasn't detected could of led to serious medical issues later on that evening with high blood sugars !!

We was going to order pudding but as service was slow we decided to leave and over heard the waitress on the table behind us apologising to the family behind as they forgot to make their starters and was bringing out their mains first and did the was the starters cooking and coming out too !!

Over all my first time here won't be rushing back any time soon

Been here many times over the years but this was prob the worst visit ever. Came for a family birthday with 10 people. Some dinners took over 35 mins to appear. One not at all until we asked twice. The dinners where barely hot too. To top it off the gents toilet floor was flooding. I pointed this out to staff after taking my 4 year old toilet. Over an hour later on revisit it was in the same state. God know what we walked through. The play area was unsafe too with the safety mesh having a hole in it with kids getting through and climbing on the back end of the play area and on top of the tunnel. Staff don't seem bothered about this or clearing tables.

Won't be back lost a customer, probably nothing to them but the lack of customer service is unbelievable charging a one year to stand a buffet queue oh he can't, because he was eating from my plate he can't feed him self what so ever. HE IS ONE YEAR OLD. So yes you've lost a customer and probably a few more now I have told people how disgusting the reaction of this managers face with that smirk. No one has ever charged me normally the staff are awesome but thank the guy with a smirk, we did have further bookings but now cancelled them so thank that guy.

Went yesterday the services was so slow took 45 minutes for a starter then the waiter just walked past the plate over and over. Was another 45 minutes before the main. Won’t go again

Went before Christmas with 3 friends, 7 children and a baby. Service was atrocious. Mains of ones with no starter arrived with others starters. Waited an hour for desserts to arrive after being told we hadn't received them only to have half still missing. Which when told arrived 15 minutes later. No plates collected in that time, no apology and manager wasn't any use as said she can't do anything about it when we complained. An apology would of gone a long way.

We ate here today with our two children it was diabolical the children had the meatballs and pasta wich was all dried up and they said it was gross my husband had the gormet burger wich is supposed to contain two 1/4 pound steak burgers they were thin grey looking and disgusting nothing like described in the menus his chips were Pale and undercooked I had lamb shank mash and green beans I was shocked at the tiny portion for over 11 pounds one small spoon of mash a few dried up green beans and a greasy lamb shank that tasted of nothing I will not recommend and certainly will never return .

Very poor first time going there dinner was fast we waited for our deserts we waited 30mins and no one was coming they took away the dinner plates they didn't even ask if we would like our puddings now i went to the till to get money back they said did you ask to get the desserts it's not my job to ask that was higher up then normal staff saying that to me.

Very disappointed in the length of time we had to wait they did not allocated us a table for 45 minutes then we had to go to bar to book food to be told that we had to wait another 40 minutes before we would get are food as results we only had main course and no deserts

The Sunday dinner is overpriced for such a poor quality meal. The roast potatoes were in edible and the mash was out of a packet now what you expect for 9.99 a head. The soup was like dish water with no flavour. Such a shame as good location if the food was improved the place wouldn't be empty during Sunday lunch! Glad we had a voucher from winning a Facebook competition won't be returning

Starters and main brought out at the same time meaning no room on the table to eat and our mains were cold by the time we got to them. Child's fish bits had large bones in it. Onion rings, chips, sausages, peas, beef and stuffing all over done. And to top it all a nice long hair in the meal! Just awful.

Fair play did offer us refund but still....

Restaurant, area around our table and play area was dirty. Food was tasty but lukewarm and no one cleared our table between courses. We brought a birthday cake and they brought it out still in the box :-(

Popped in for lunch with partner, son and grandson. Grandsons food was fine.... every other meal got sent back as all stone cold..... returned and one ‘ok’ other 2..... one burger rock hard and other a total different thing to original order..... returned again...... salads look like sat there a week! place just seems a shambles. Need a good refurb and total ‘kick up the arse’

Ordered 3 burgers all came out cold.... 2nd time they came out my burger was fine.... My mums was burnt and my stepdads was the wrong burger completely.... sent my stepdads back and they bought out the correct burger but massively over done.... at least my nephews food was fine first time! The floor staff were helpful with everything and extremely apologetic! Perhaps the kitchen staff need a talking to.....

Oh dear! Food not good. I had chilli which was very small portion for an adult and was more beans than meat. We were served starters and main meal at same time so had to send Main back. Floor areas not kept clean as food under our table from previous customers.

Toilets had paper all around floor both inside and outside of toilets .

Normally an alright pub but have been in this afternoon and was disgusted as a senior member of staff at another local resturaunt. Almost every table was dirty in the resturaunt and bar area. Kids running riot and no sign of any staff attempting to tidy up. However there was 2 staff on the bar and 3 managers just standing at the door. All staff rude except from one male manager who seemed new, with long hair. Not very good at all and won't be returning anymore. Normally visit Premier inns as my first choice for travel and this is by far the worst.

Had to wait 90 minutes for our food whilst visiting with 5 children. Manager and staff was very rude!

Fucking terrible, my mates little boys 1st birthday, to be fair I was one of the last to order but I sat and watched everyone eat before asking for my money back when it was 'jus coming'? Came yesterday for my son's 1st birthday. Was appalled by service I understand its christmas and you have party's on but if you can't cope with the amount of customers maybe you should just do a set menu, hour wait after we ordered noone told us when we ordered how long we would wait. Place is absolute filthy high chair was dirty I actually had to clean it before my son could eat. Refused to let him play in kids area as it was that bad. Then when the food came it wasn't fresh it was over cooked and cold. My son's pasta looked like a value ready meal from a super market. Don't recommend and certainly wont be returning.

Wow....lovely meal, helpful friendly staff....and so much choice! Suffering from coeliacs you get used to one or two choices but here there was no such restriction!

Took our grandson there for lunch on Thursday he's 11 years old and he chose a typical meal for his age group, he was a bit miffed because the play area was closed for maintenance. But he was quoted to say he liked it there because everyone spoke to him after he'd eaten his meal our waitress came over and said as he'd eaten all his lunch he could now go and play which was now open, she made him feel very special. For what we paid I can only say the 3 of us had a very nice meal and the staff were excellent well deserved 5 stars ty

Phoned day before to ensure table for 14 available after family attended funeral at Crematorium next door. Upon arrival, shown to reserved tables. The staff member on duty couldn't have been more attentive - had a very good attitude. Set up tab and ordered food & drinks all served in good time. Would return.

Great food well presented and served in good time. Accommodated our requests for slight changes to the actual menu meal...ie: swapping salad for beans, chips for sweet potato fries, no dressing on my salad, extra mayo on the side. Staff very attentive and friendly.

First time here today food was lovely good portion size for children our daughter enjoyed her dinner and pudding only downside is lack of choice with dessert will defo be returning

Came here for my son's birthday dinner...he had chicken and rib combo..all ok except he thought could do with bit more BBQ sauce over both meats, I had fish and chips, it was fine but had wanted giant haddock and chips but told there wasn't any even though we were quite early diners! My daughter had coronation chicken salad and loved it but the original salad she wanted wasn't available either unfortunately. My husband had the ultimate burger meal but said afterwards it was not a very good burger...but staff seemed friendly and no probs with service just think you may need to work on the menu a bit and keep an eye on ordering enough stock.

It tasted better than it looked! The new potatoes had obviously been cooked and kept warm a while, the quiche tasted nice but looked dry and i have never seen such a poor looking side salad. I enjoyed a catch up with family but not impressed with your standard of quality of food. If your not doing the saladbowl any more- take it off the menu!

I echo most of the comments here it's slow dirty tables food all over the menus. Last night I pointed out the vinegar bottle on the table had a bed of silt in it. Was told they check them regularly. What I don't understand is why someone in senior management is not reading these reviews and doing something about It? Answer. They are getting enough revenue from those people who stay at the hotel. May never come back. But there is always someone else to fill that room tomorrow! If this was a stand alone restaurant it would fail.

Had breakfast there. Could have been warmer, not the best considering the price but not the worst. Probably won't stop there again
