Just bought a vw golf from Bristol street motors carlisle. They were brilliant through out the sale thanks again to Andrew Harkness and the team at the Vauxhall branch really happy with my car.

Have to say I have bought 4 cars over the years from Mike at Carlisle and every single time I have had a great deal and my experience has been superb. Got 2 service plans and they are efficient and helpful when service time comes around. Many thanks to the team, especially Mike. Will be returning in July this year! ���

Would love to give 0 star but there isn’t the option.

Buying a new car should be an enjoyable experience but I have never felt so let down by a company in my life.

Took our old car in to part ex and got the settlement figure from our old finance company. Picked the new car you and got a phone call 2 week after to say they “forgot” to add the settlement figure in to the finance, but they will pay the difference (which they did). Got a phone call today (6 weeks after picking up the car) to say they ‘shouldn’t have’ and now are taking legal action against us. Wish we never turned in to the dealership. Absolute joke of a company that “promises everything will be fine” when it’s far from it.

Really quite poor. I’ve never seen such poor after sales service. I definitely advise everybody to be aware that if you buy a car here, you probably won’t be looked after as soon as you sign the contract. I understand that car salesmen will really try to upsell the car and make it sound fantastic, but lying about things like the car having a full service history? That is not unacceptable. Also waiting 5/6 months for something to be sorted after questioning it 8 times since buying the car is not okay.

Do not take your car here avoid at all costs , took my company car here for a service they damaged the boot lid. They booked me back in for repair twice and twice they did not repair as apparently the paint guy never turned up I've been waiting another two weeks now for them to even bother to ring me back to get this sorted. well over a 6 weeks in total now. Shocking considering it was them who damaged my car and they don't seem interested in putting it right.

Bought a limited edition 1.0T corsa just over 2 years ago from Bristol Street motors at Carlisle which originally came from Newcastle as a demo. Had nothing but hassel with it but lately its been in my local Vauxhall garage for 3 months and they still cant fix it.. Vauxhall wont buy the car back off me due to having 22k miles and 15 reg!!!! Vauxhall themselves couldn't give a hoot. I no longer want a Vauxhall and will Never buy another. My partner has been Vauxhall mad for 20 years but even now he wont be buying another either. Its me having to make all the calls and iv had enough think its time to goto the ombudsman... Also if ive been told i wont be getting a good will gesture compensation if i leave Vauxhall p.s mike at carlisle is great glad hes seen sense!
