10 days and counting until the 2018 Brocklesby Country Fair.
This year the headline Main Ring act is Atkinson Action Horses including Poldark's very own trusty steed Seamus! He is available to pat and stroke all day (the horse, not Ross Poldark sadly),

User

Thank you for a fantastic day. We was very well supported. Thank you to all that supported us and thank you for all the lovely COMMENTS. hope to see you all next year.

TOTALLY TASTY CATERING.

User

My first time at the event, and i loved it, it was very well laid out, plenty to do and see for all the family,

I agree about shaded areas, but i also don't agree this was the organisers fault, you cannot predict the weather. i think in the circumstances the organisation was fantastic and the extra water stations for both people and pets was fabulous, Well done, we will definitely be back for the next one

User

It was a lovely well organised day out.enjoyed every minute.well done.

User

I used to work at a lot of shows but had never heard of this one.

Had a fantastic time, there was plenty to see and do rather than a load of trade stands.

The weather was crazy hot and would agree there could have been more shade but who can guess the weather?

User

I approached the show open minded about what to expect, after reading mixed reviews. But i can honestly say it was a great day, excellent day. My kids loved it, plenty for them to get involved in at age 2, 6 & 10 without incurring extra costs other than a few donations. There was a lot of reviews negative on cost, but i can honestly say I thought pricing was fair, from the gate fee to the food and drink stalls (standard show pricing, but still cheaper than a lot of other shows.) Thanks for an excellent fathers day and we will be visiting again. Mart.

User

Had such an good day weather was brilliant for it but like others say need a shaded area for people to take time out and cool down on hot days and eveywhere we went for what was advertised for cold drinks they were barely cold majority of them was warm and it seemed alot smaller this year not as many stalls so what you pay to enter didnt seem worth it

User

Full family loved it great day out and a big thank you to ben potter for letting my lad get close to the eagles to get his photographs and for a great show

User

First time for my family and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our 6yr old daughter participated in the pony club display and then the gate jumping. All children enjoyed the rides and great choice of food available lovely atmosphere

User

Fabulous day out. Loved it :) Plenty to see and do.. and eat... and buy... Perfect :) PS loved the fly by!

User

Accidentally left my camera in a camera bag hanging up in one of the portaloos near the vintage tractors. Went back a minute later and someone had taken it. If you are that person or you know them please please message me on here. It's got family photos on and it's ruined my day not having it handed in. Been in tears a lot of the day. If you can return it to me then there'll be no questions asked. Please help. :-(

User

A great day out. Lovely crafts and loads to see entertainment wise. Most things have been thought of, lots of loos, drinking water on tap, plenty of good food outlets but as previous review mentions, there was very little shade available. Otherwise well organised!

User

I have to echo what others have said about providing more shaded areas with seating. I'm 6 months pregnant and a couple of times felt quite poorly as I could only find seating (the straw bales) in the direct sun. I thought I was going to faint a couple of times and thats despite trying to stay hydrated with a litre of water I brought with me. I think everything else was really good but this is quite a big thing to help the wellbeing of everyone attending on such a hot day. Obviously it might be raining next year so sheltered areas would still be useful!

User

We've been going for quite a few years now ! But feel the entrance fee of £12 is a bit to much. That said we did have a good day , but it was hot !!

User

We visit each year, we live local and it is always well organised. Have to say we were disappointed this year, there seemed fewer trade stalls and as fantastic as the dancing sheep and the jumping quads are, it was the same last year.

There needs to be some investment in attracting a variety and more, trade stands selling things as had visited them all within an hour, I think there are too many food stalls, why would I want to pay £11 entrance to buy an overpriced roll!

Ditto re entertainment, get some new attractions, something different, we didn't even watch the main attractions as had seen them all before, we said we will give it a miss next year unless it's promoted as different

Finally although I don't think the entrance is overly expensive ( compared to ridiculous charges at Lincoln and Yorkshire show) there are no concessions why?

User

Seems to be less stalls there every time we go, plus like others are saying there's no shade anywhere, we had to leave early because my lad was feeling poorly from the sun ...think we're going to give it a miss for a couple of years

User

Our first time this year, for what there was thought it was expensive, no shade, fewer stalls than I expected and when sitting on the straw bales outside the main ring view obscured by banners so unless your a giant you couldn't see over, will be sticking with reevesby in future I think

User

Love a good country fair and this is so close to us would have been a shame to miss it - our family enjoyed it BUT needs more stalls / commercial support - contrast it with how much Moreno there is at Revesby. Can't complain about the fabulous weather but given there was no shade anywhere it was impossible to stay with the kids once the midday heat kicked in.

User

I think with the amount of money being paid per person they should be a big canvas area just to sit and cool off instead of just beer tents/ markets stalls... not enough shade for extremely hot days

User

I think the money they charge and the amount of people there the entertainment in the main ring should be a lot better over the years there has been some real rubbish one beer tent charging what they like for warm beer no shade not enough seating not enough stools etc etc etc

User
