Following a BBC News report today we've issued a statement: "Our Refuse Team works hard to make 3.7 million bin collections each year. Only 0.3% of our collections were reported as missed in 2018. Missed bin reporting is a complex issue and it is important to note that there are other factors which mean the figures reported are not a true reflection of missed bins in the Borough."
