On January 29th we have the Reaction! open mic happening in The Cellar Bar.
Are you a musician, comedian, poet? Are you a performing artist of any kind with or without a disability? Do you want to perform at inclusive, friendly, open mic in Brighton? We WANT YOU!
Hosted by young people with learning disabilities, this is an open mic with a difference. Get a reaction from your audience who will give you positive and encouraging feedback.
... We will be hosting this on the last Tuesday of the month every month going forward so get in involved and pass this on if you know anyone that might want to be involved!

We had our wedding celebration party at The Venue in The Brunswick in June. It was completely brilliant. Andy made the organisation simple and Anya is incredibly helpful. The bar staff were fantastic - particularly Zara and Ed - our guests couldnŌĆÖt speak highly enough of them. Matt, the engineer, did a great job with the band we had booked and the food was excellent. The staff really make you feel that they were enjoying themselves too! We cannot recommend this place highly enough either as a potential venue for a private party, a brilliant venue for live music or simply as an excellent local boozer!

We chose this pub for my nans 85th bday get together because it was an ideal location, but since that day I will now come back to this pub for so many more reasons! The food was amazing, the staff were so friendly , they treated my nan very well even gave her a birthday drink on the house! Really lovely environment! Thank you so much ­¤śŖ

My family and friends aged from 2yrs plus had a lovely lunchtime trying out the new menu. The fries with onions on...blooming lovely. The kids loved the mac cheese and meatball pastas too. With great beer and friendly staff a relaxed meal was had, thanks ’┐Į

I read about the ┬Ż6 a plate deal throughout February so myself and two girlfriends thought we'd try it out last Friday. So glad we did as I can honestly speak for all three of us when I say that the food was delicious, some of the best we've had in a pub, ever! We shared the seafood platter, anti-pasti and cheese platter as well as the salt and pepper squid. They were all original and well thought out with top quality ingredients with well chosen chutneys and beautiful breads. It was all so tasty. We were three very stuffed and happy bunnies when we left. We will definitely be going again very soon!
