I am a self-employed PA offering one-to-one flexible support packages tailored to the client’s individual needs. I support vulnerable & disabled Adults, Young people and Children to ensure they receive the care and support of their choice to enable them to live their life to its full potential.

If you are a social care user or are receiving NHS continuing healthcare, you can receive financial help through funding called ‘A Personal Budget’ or ‘Direct payments’. Once receiving these payments you can decide to use it to pay for the services that you personally need and want.
Deciding to choose a PA gives you and your family the control and flexibility to choose a person to support you that is suitable for your own personal needs. Choosing a PA means you will get one-to-one support that is tailored to individual needs and will have the same person supporting you on a regular basis, allowing you to build a trusting relationship with them.


A PA can support you with daily tasks and activities that you may not be able to do alone or may not feel confident to do independently. This could include, but is not limited to,

•Taking you shopping

•Accompanying you to appointments

•Supporting you to access education or work /volunteering placements

•Accompanying you to leisure activities (gym, swimming, exercise classes, cinema, day trips etc. )

•Support you with domestic activities (cleaning home, washing and ironing, preparing meals etc. )

If you would like more information about receiving or managing a personal budget, you can get access the relevant information through a brokerage or advocacy service. Local support brokers can provide one-to-one support or additional continuous support for those who need it, as well as offering support by phone or online. Having a broker to help you manage your personal budget can help make the process a lot easier and I personally work closely with a local broker who offers many of these services.
