Experienced Waiting Staff wanted! We've a great team of people here at Shanti but sometimes there's just not quite enough of us! If you're experienced in waiting tables in a busy environment (often on your own!), can make a great coffee amongst a whole list of other drinks and love meeting people then we'd like to hear from you! This Saturday, 23rd February, there will be an Anti Fur Demo headed by Lincoln Animal Rights Group and Georgia our lovely Shanti friend. Anyone wishing to join the start point will be the memorial statue on the High Street, opposite Boots at 11am. X

Yesterday evening my friend and I dined at Cafe Shanti. I have eaten here before (surprisingly, this was only my second visit) but it was the first time for my friend. Even though the place is small it's not closed and suffocating but provides a calm and relaxing atmosphere. We didn't have much time as we were due to go to the theatre (I got my timings wrong) - but the service was quick so we had enough time for our mains. There's plenty of choice - from light bites to main meals. The food is very reasonable and the portions are generous. The staff were warm and friendly. Unfortunately due to time pressures we didn't have time for any desserts- meaning I'll be paying another visit soon! With the place being quite small you do leave smelling like a kitchen- but this doesn't affect or take away from your dining experience. I highly recommend Cafe Shanti and will definately be returning!!

Wow, Can’t believe I live in Lincoln and Cafe Shanti has been open 3 years!!!

Had lunch in there the last 2 days and thoroughly enjoyed, loved the ambience, friendly staff and great food.

This is such a little gem in the City Centre. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming along with the staff. The food choices are great and well priced. The food itself is a treat for both the eyes and the tastebuds. Great place to go for a filling meal �

Such a lovely place, I'm a meat eater myself but love coming here. The food is delicious, the atmosphere so relaxing and the staff is lovely, wouldn't mind paying twice as much! Just such an amazing place :)

Shanti offer fantastic value for money. Their food from currys/stews/falafal/beanburgers/cakes are fabulous vegan and veggie grub!! A meat eater would be happy to eat here and not think they were 'missing' out by not having meat on their plates!! Simply fantastic food/venue/atmosphere can't recommend highly enough!!!

Now our go to restaurant in Lincoln. Fantastic, delicious food and very friendly service. Cannot wait to go back and try more. Keep up the good work!

My new favourite place to eat. Such a welcoming, relaxing and warm environment which is something you find rarely these days. Beautifully healthy, homemade food for a fraction of the price compared to other restaurants in the area.



I've tried the Dhaal, Pasanda and Banana Korma and loved them ALL. Such good flavours, especially their homemade coconut chutney which is to die for.



A genuine place with a lot of soul and great for any diet. I'm a meat eater and certainly didn't miss it being at Shanti.

It's friendly hosts are very kind and accommodating. My 6th birthday booking went smoothly even though I had staggers roughly 50 people. It did not phase the staff. Their home made cakes are second to none. The food is great and atmosphere colourful warming and spiritual in the bathroom poss form. We all had a brilliant time. I visited Cafe Shanti for the first time today with my husband and 2 young children. We will definitely be returning! The food was amazing (our children are 3 and 4 and loved their meals - Cafe Shanti has a lovely children’s menu) the staff are really friendly and the atmosphere is truly special. This place really is a hidden gem in Lincoln.

I love this cafe, nice problem to have when you cannot decide what to have! Only downside no gluten free bread, but that's it. Service is brilliant, friendly and quick.

Can highly and strongly recommend and encourage anyone to go.

Great food, try it even if you are not vegan, get the mixed platter if it's your first time.

Great choice of food, specials and tea! Friendly staff and comprehensive menu. Small cafe but plenty of seating available. Delicious sweet potato fries and the Shanti burger was tasty. Colourful decoration and calm atmosphere with plenty to look at! Will have to come back and try something different as there was too much choice!

Friendly, knowledgable staff make this place a very comfortable, relaxing place to eat. There's no pressure, but there's plenty of different kinds of tea to choose from. If I fancy a curry, this is definitely the first place I think of to go to, the portion sizes are very generous and if you can squeeze one in - they have some of the most delicious vegan desserts in Lincoln!

Food was beautiful very quick to come out too, amazing atmosphere was my first time here but certainly won’t be my last �

Ate here yesterday for first time . I am meat eater but loved the food. I had the halloumi fries with cous cous salad. It was amazing. My husband had special of day. Will definitely be back. Loved the atmosphere and background music too ��
