What an amazing morning breakfast with Santa was well done captain kids my daughter loved it thank you!!!

We was made a birthday party in Captain Kids. And we are very happy. Staff was friendly, food was good, kids enjoy everything. Many thanks for everything. ���

We visit every time we are here and our girls love it. It is clean and tidy, the food and drinks are a reasonable price and the staff are excellent and make our visit always pleasant. Would definitely recommend visiting �

Had my daughters 4th birthday party here on Saturday 8th July. My lil girl loved it. Nice pirate princess party, with balloons, food, party bags and even a visit from Dino. Kids loved it. Had face painting and sweets too. Well done and thanku to all the staff who helped Sophia have a brilliant party. Cake was lovely. Thanks again

Fantastic place to let the kidds run wild for a couple of hours while you put your feet up and have a brew....though the dri ks prices are a little steep...i mean £1.60 for a fruit shoot imitation ..when there cheap to buy i packs of 12...stick to the large jug of cordial for £2.00...foods good value and you get plenty

Brilliant safe place for kids to play X I like the safety gate and that kids have to be signed out and can not leave without an adult. Also the staff Shane Emma Chelsea and Shannon are very polite and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place xxxxx

As the previous comment has already said . We went to a birthday party this morning and the young lad who looked after our party was fantastic. One of my boys got hurt and he dealt with it very efficiently by quickly getting an ice pack and sitting him down until he was ok. He then checked later that he was still ok. He also controlled the party and gave out party food etc all by himself. He was very polite and enthusiastic. I never often leave reviews but I definitely wanted to leave one for him. Captain kids he is a credit to your team!

Amazing we went in winter staff are grate hight rules ment our little ones where playing with kids the same age, Julie thanks for all the kind service brilliant

Really good for the kids. Although the toilet were a little grubby and was no hand soap ! Could of done with a little tidying up on the tables. Cups etc were not cleaned up by staff. Apart from that excellent value for the money!

I visited Captain Kids the Saturday just gone! Don't get me wrong it's great prices and an awesome play area and very safe! But I wasn't aloud in to retrieve one of the children I came with which I think is a bit stupid, it's not like I was going in to play I was simply going to retrieve the child!�x x

I kids loved it. I didn't like that I could not see all the areas. Also one of the slides is steep and my three year old end up getting hurt and had his face covered in blood.

The staff were very helpful after the situation and made sure he was OK and cleaned up.

Came to a birthday party this morning. I would just like to say a Massive Thank you to Shane, the young lad who did the party all by himself. He worked his socks off and did a fantastic job. And he was very apologetic when Dino came late and the kids had all gone off to play. We know this was not his fault. He was very friendly and very polite.

All members of staff were very welcoming, the kids had loads of fun very busy place so I can imagine it's very popular...... We had a buy one ticket get one free so it was even better ......will more then likely visit again in the near future.....thanks all

Think your rules on not allowing my child to go down the slide with her dad is a joke paid 4quid for her to play in the smallest area on her own because your staff not allow me to go around and play with my daughter and make sure she is safe instead i get the choice of well she can go with a member of staff yh my daughter is really goin to go off with some one we don't no.will not be returning

My daughter had her 6th birthday party here on Saturday 9th July.



We had called around to ask about a minecraft themed party to which our due to be 6 years old specifically wanted.

Captain kids confirmed they could do this so we put down a £20 deposit and was told to call a few days before the party to confirm numbers or if we wanted any added extras.



A week before I called and spoken to a member of staff to confirm numbers so far and to double check the theme to which seemed fine then the Friday we called again as we had a few extra children to add and spoken to Julie which I presume is the manager, who very Rudely said they might not beable to do the minecraft theme because we have let her know too late! I explained that I'm sure we told her at the time of booking to which she said well I was their when you booked it and you didn't mention confirm a theme!

I left the call feeling distressed how can I tell my child she won't be getting the party she wanted! anyhow I had a call back within a few hours to tell us that they had an order come in for the theme so all was good for now!



On arrival Our minecraft theme which was only seen while they sat and ate food upstairs was simply just green cups and green plates, they had a banner that had drawn on creeper and the word minecraft in biro! I've seen much better online (captain kids just for future reference you can get Minecraft printable party decorations for free online) this was pretty rubbish and I think asking £8.75 per child for this is a joke especially as they only had an hour play and then was told after food they could play for 15 mins! How is it that someone that pays for entry without being a party member can get all day play yet some one that's a party guest at £8.75 a child can only get a certain time frame to play! Ridiculous!



on the day of arrival for my little girls party we signed her in and my younger sister (11 years) whome was told she won't be getting in she's too tall! By Julie the who we presume is the manager! Yet we still had to pay the £8.75 for her to sit and watch then have a child's burger and chips! and also £8.75 for my two year old nethew who was too small but had a couple of fish fingers and a few chips!

We were firstly directed to a table that was not big enough for the amount of children and their parents to sit around.



We later had a staff member come up to us with a list saying theirs an extra child that's arrived that's is not on the list! like its a huge problem! As if they can't add another chair around the table for the meal! Anyhow this was soon sorted as the child was a brother of one of the party guests whom wasn't apart of the party so a simple mistake on their part but the distress was ridiculous!



It just seemed so disorganised and messy! Our party planner was good he was helpful but he could have done with extra help especially during the meal time! in fact me and my husband had to help the poor lad clear tables and give out their puddings to the children.



The manager Julie brought up the birthday cake (very small) tesco value cake £4 online serves 12 we had 18 children! the only time we saw her again was when she was having a fag out the front doors or chatting away in the kitchen with other staff.



Whilst the children were sitting upstairs for food, one of our children was missing!!! Her dad was worried, we all were and couldn't see her anywhere!. I asked for a call out on the speakers for her but their was no help looking for her from staff members! My husband could see her on the higher part of the play area, she had been sat their for a while scared. It was only from the stairs he could see her!



my daughter had also got stuck on the nets and was crying her eyes out as their was no staff inside the activity area or around checking and keeping an eye on them. Bare in mind We were told because we are adults we were not allowed in the activity play area but my 11 year old sister who was told previously she's too tall had to go in and get them!!!



I'm shocked at how badly run it all is. The party bags were not given out at the end of the party and some children went home without them and so we had to go round and tell everyone to get a party bag from the front desk on their way out yet they had to wait ages for these so in the end they were left on our tiny table for us to do.



I defiantly will not be booking our party with captain kids again! We had 18 children at £8.75 per child for the lamest minecraft theme. So we paid £157.50 for our daughters party in total! I would suggest if you are having a party here for your child you employ middle sized people to keep an eye on the children inside the activity area so they don't get stuck or lost inside and you stick with their basic themes because it's really not worth paying the extra £2 per child.



I was asked to leave a review by a staff member upon leaving, it's not a positive review! I am not normally one to complain but I feel that parents should be made aware.



Maybe you are overstretched on staff we definitely got this impression but this should be rectified before hosting larger parties also I would like to suggest a simple complimentary phone call to your customers now and again well before the party date, maybe then the issue with not knowing a party theme would have been rectified well before the party date.

What a waste of time and money orderd food from the coffee lounge for me and my little girl at dinner time was waiting nearly 90 minutes with still nothing asked a lady how long it's going to be they was only just starting it . And the place wasn't even busy about 6 people in. Don't order food from here people
