Hi all, short notice I know but if anybody is wanting entered into Kevin Harper’s open tournament on Saturday 27th April can you let me know ASAP as the registration closes this Wednesday. There’s 2 categories, people who have had 0-5 fights and those who have had 6-10 fights. All details are on the poster below but if anybody has any queries then please shout up.

We have our Chaz Joining Jacky Boy later this month on the warriors rising show down in Oldham, Charlie will again be giving away experience when he steps in to fight young Cyrus, fight camps going well for both lads and they will both be turning up to fight on the day, last call for tickets as I’ll be ordering them tomorrow morning so can those who are definitely joining us in support of these two young lads please let me know, again and as always, all support is very much appreciated.

3 of our young fighters have been invited to fight on the WTKA UK team later this year over in Italy, these 3, along with the rest of Unit5 junior team commit so much to their training week in week out and they fully deserve this chance to compete on the world stage. Unfortunately, the trip is mostly self funded and as a none profit gym we would be looking to try various ways of raising at least some of the funds towards this fantastic experience for the kids. I will be happy... to contribute some of the funds out my own pocket but If anybody has any ideas for fundraising can you please give me a shout, also if there’s any businesses out their who could make a contribution towards the fundraising then we would be very grateful.
This is a fantastic opportunity for these young lads and I’d hate for them to miss out on it.

Jacks next outing this month is against Lucas from JCs gym, jacks coming off the back of a superb win last weekend in the semi finals of the open tournament and will hopefully carry over the confidence into this fight, we also have Chaz matched on this show, with that cracking match up to be announced soon. Can those wanting tickets please let me know asap, as you can see on the poster it’s cheaper to pre book tickets. As always all support is massively appreciated.

Kaci loses in the final after a hard fought 5 rounds against Izzy from UMA Muay Thai, Kaci going the distance with a top level fighter and looked good whilst doing so is a win win for Kaci.

Jack faced Louis Fairhurst from Peel Muay Thai in the final (again) and after taking damage to the leg in the first round, we made the decision to stop the fight, Jack fought superb today to get to the final but as a coach we need to protect these young fighters and we think we made the right decision.

Charlie loses in the semi finals to Dominik from UMA Muay Thai, Charlie will be the first to admit it wasn’t his best performance, however it’s another tough 5 rounds against a very good opponent for the young lad.

Jack puts in his best performance to date and beats Fin from lumpini Crawley in the semi finals and moves into the final 🥊

We have Charlie and Jack matched on this show, can those wanting tickets let me know and I’ll get them ordered, you can pay on the door but it’s cheaper getting tickets, as always, the kids put their all into fight camps so let’s try and show them some support.
