Two great nights spent at Castello in one weekend! We had food on the second visit. My husband had a burger which he really enjoyed and I had the hot smoked salmon fish cake which was delicious, the nicest fish I've had when eating out in a while! The staff were great on both evenings, extremely helpful and polite. �

Love the food here. So different from other places.

I was bitterly dissapointed that when aimlessly trying to chat up the totty behind the bar my joke of walking in with a white stick and golden lab and asking for a big mac had no affect what so ever, however she pulled it back with her roller skating annecdotes so fair play.

Great food, reasonably priced, nice buzz! The Aperol spritz was fab!

Great food and great chilled out and relaxed ambience. Top place.

It's about time W'boro gave us something decent �love the deco, staff was nice. Castello was our first time visiting. The food was ok but could have done with a bit more seasoning/ flavouring on my chicken burger but all in all I'm not mad.

Accessibility is good for wheelchair users i.e. you can get the chair under the table so that is a plus. Will be back next time we are in town.

Great place to eat and drink in the centre of town, tables outside are also great when it’s hot.

1st time last night eating at castello and the food was very nice, the staff were very nice too. There was only one let down, as a table of 5 we all ordered individually but one after another and told the staff member taking the orders it was all for the same table. After sitting back down and being brought our cutlery we were told there would be a delay in between each of the orders coming out as they weren't paid for together so some had finished their food before others had even started. All but one were the same dish with one steak being done a little more than the rest. Common sense would have said to cook them all together.

Just for your information, side salad was totalny unfresh. Hated it. .... disappointed �

I tried this place today because I was told that they catered for vegans. I looked at the menu and decided to have the Jackfruit burger with sweet potato fries and I honestly couldn't fault the food. However, the staff have no sense of urgency and can be rude. It was quiet when I walked in and there was only one other customer at the bar when I went up there to place my order and still had to wait ages to be served. I ordered a beer for my friend who was with me but after I got my drink, he was left waiting for his. After ten minutes, my friend went up to the bar to find out where his drink was and the guy who served me was adamant that I had only ordered one drink. He did apologise, but seemed frustrated when we told him about it! The waitress who brought our food out, also didn't seem to be very happy for whatever reason when she served our food. I'm glad that I finally tried the food, but probably won't go again.

Went for breakfast and ordered 2 poached eggs on toast. Eggs were hard and toast wasn’t even buttered , won’t be ordering again

I used to love this place but I have ate twice there recently and both times had to send food back panini was black underneath it was burnt so bad and vegi burger was so hard I couldn’t bite into it!! Gutted as it was my place to eat in Wellingborough �

Your staff are shit as fuck rude. I rang to see what time you were doing food till (10pm) I walked up to the till at 9:58 to be told I couldn't order as your kitchen staff had already gone home. How does it work that you serve food till 10 and at two minutes to 10 your kitchen staff have gone home. Dread to think the state of the cleanliness of your kitchen. Maybe change your food serving times to 9:58.
