We stayed for one night for my husbands 50th birthday. The hotel itself is beautiful and our room amazing with a bath and shower. The food was fantastic and Sue who looked after us both so well was friendly, professional and nothing was to much trouble. On returning to our room someone had put a birthday card to my husband on our room door which was a really kind touch. Will definitely be back again. Thank you

User

We had our wedding here on Saturday and I can safely say that it was the most perfect day! Everything ran so smoothly, service and food was fantastic, and everyone commented on how relaxed the day was!

Thank you to Stella and the team who made our special day so beautiful! Will definitely be popping back to use the linden restaurant sometime.

We got married here on 26th July 2018 and had an incredible day! Stella was very helpful in the planning and was always ready to advise and answer any queries we had.

The day itself was perfect from start to finish. The staff were very professional and friendly and they couldn’t do enough for you. The setting is stunning and we got married in The Glade which was simply beautiful and was perfect as we both wanted to get married outside. The whole Manor House, grounds and rooms are stunning, it definitely has the “wow” factor. The food was delicious and presented beautifully. We had lots of positive comments about the day, it flowed very well and had a lovely relaxed atmosphere.

Thank you so much to Stella and the team for making our day so special ďż˝.

We got married here September 2017 and it was absolute perfection from start to finish. The staff were fantastic and super helpful, the food was delicious (no problems catering for our gluten free and vegetarian guests) and the venue itself was stunning. We got married outside by the lawns and the staff were great as they moved all the chairs from inside at the last minute when the sun came out! The rooms in the hotel are beautiful, spacious, immaculate and decorated really nicely. The cooked breakfast was really tasty and there was a great selection of continental food. Overall our experience was over and above what we could have wished for on our wedding day and I'd like to say a MASSIVE thank you to everyone at Catthorpe for making it perfect ďż˝

User

We got married at catthorpe manor on 12th January 18 and we would highly recommend it, not only are the prices reasonable, all the staff, the service, the food, the setting, the grounds, the bedrooms are all to a very very high standard

I fell in love with catthorpe after a beautiful afternoon tea with my daughter, it's been the best afternoon tea venue I have ever attended and I've been to a few during my time!

With the help of Helen and Stella our day was just perfect from start to finish, all staff went above and beyond their duties to make our day extra special and it is thoroughly appreciated

I follow catthorpe manor on Facebook and hope to attend the Christmas tributes they have and lots of other events they hold

Thank you

We got married at Catthorpe Manor on Saturday 9th June and can honestly say it was the best day! Stella was absolutely amazing from starting to plan the wedding right through to her being there and supporting us on the day itself by making sure everything ran smoothly! Nothing was too much trouble and her responses to our questions were so efficient making the whole process much easier! She also kept us on track by giving us a nudge in the right direction with our wedding plans (let’s just say we were pretty last minute).

We got married in The Glade which was very special as I had always wanted an outdoor wedding and the rest of the day took place between The Loggia and The Manor House. So many of our guests commented on the intimate and relaxed lay out of the venue. We’ve had excellent comments about the food and the drinks kept flowing all day into the early hours of Sunday morning (sorry night porter, you got the rough end of the night!)!

I cannot recommend this venue enough. The website itself does not do the venue justice, go and see it for yourself and have a chat with the ladies! They are so flexible and will consider most requests (and we had a fair few!). Thank you all so much for making our day so very special!!

User

We booked for a night as we lived in the nearby village of Lilbourne and just moved out of our house. We needed a restful night with good food and that's exactly what we got. In fact the food was excellent and along with our son and friends we polished off the lot! Room was decorated simply but tastefully and the overall hotel was very comfortable. Fantastic value and would highly recommend it!

As a business traveller myself I would also recommend it to business people in Rugby as it's only 10 mins. Great pub in Lilbourne, Head of Steam is walkable although you would need a torch!

User

Lovely afternoon tea at Catthorpe today. Beautifully presented and totally delicious!

A real value for money treat :)

User

Just spent New Years Eve here what a fantastic night. From the moment we checked in to dinner and breakfast this morning everything was perfect. The staff were attentive and friendly and nothing was too much trouble especially Michelle and the lady on reception. Just wanted to say thank you and would definitely recommend the hotel and are looking forward to coming back. And a big thank you to the chef for the fantastic food .

It was a lovely relaxing Sunday lunch, the staff were very accommodating and made my mum's birthday and family get-together perfect, the food was amazing.

User

I took my mother to Catthorpe Manor for Mother's Day lunch and I have to say it was absolutely lovely. The food was excellent, and the service second to none, the wine and the water was served to us by one of the managers. Everyone knew what they were doing it was organized and very enjoyable. And most of all my mother had a wonderful day. Thank you to all the staff at the Catthorpe Manor Hotel. I will be recommending to everyone ***** 5 big fat stars.

User

Fab stay, really impressed. Lovely room, fab food and amazing staff - they're customer service skills were above and beyond. I was a bit of a fussy customer and requested to change rooms as our room only had a shower and I'm a bath girl and it was arranged without any inconvenience. The staff also organised a late check out for me as my fiancé was out on a course and they also provided the most delicious afternoon tea I have had in my life. Thanks so much :) xxx Charlotte and Anthony

Due to us not having heating and hot water at home, my hubby decided to treat us and what an amazing treat it was!!! We were greeted by Chris and Luke who made our stay so worth while. When they heard that we didn't have hot water at home, it was no problem for them to change us from a room with a shower only to a room with a shower and bath for us to lie in and relax. We had dinner in the dinning room and wow, what a meal!!! Can't remember when we last enjoyed a meal as much as we did. Thank you for such a lovely stay, we will highly recommend to anyone...

User

37 of us celebrated my daughters 21st birthday here yesterday with Afternoon tea, it was perfect everyone enjoyed themselves in the stunning surroundings. The food was beautiful, nothing was too much for Karen and her staff especially the young lady that helped set the room up in the morning. Thank you I can't recommend you enough to everyone. x

User

What a lovely place, but we got there 10 minutes after the kitchen shut and we couldn’t even get a sandwich. Had to wait almost an hour for a pizza delivery...

User

Lovely visit for a wedding. Stayed 2 nights in room 1. Wonderful grounds and lounge and restaurant.....Beautiful room only issue no full length mirror and shower does run hot and cold. Breakfast had excellent produce ..good choice...... Staff need bit of training as in and out forgetting toast, milk, sauces....kept having to ask....but hotel manager (man) was there talking to guests about all the things he's done and where he worked....yawn, don't care mate get a tray and clean the tables.(staff in and out disturbing guests as no trays used to clear a table after 5 people had been there a teapot and cup at a time!! ) ...he needs to help and direct his staff a bit more. Second day Karen in charge and whole different breakfast experience.....top lady. The wedding and it's food totally amazing.....such a good day....good staff and lovely food. Overall very good but few tweaks needed to make it 5 star.

User

We went for Mother's Day and they really messed up. From being served only about 3cm of water in each glass (rations on tap water?) we then had a lengthy wait before someone came to take our drinks order and we had to point out that we hadn't seen any menus so that was rather difficult... Cue another long wait. They then didn't have the full choice of starters, so we had to change our order. Then the wrong starters were brought out. I got mine but the other two had yet another lengthy wait. Turns out we'd been given the next tables food and the restaurant had now run out of that so they didn't get their starters. So they were complaining too.

The pork mains arrived without the crackling the menu had promised, which was a disappointment and the reason my husband had chosen that main. My beef was fine.

The food and decor were good but service and organisation pretty poor. I personally wouldn't have paid the full bill after all the mix up, as it wasn't cheap, but my husband is a soft touch and doesn't like to cause a fuss.

But we won't be back.

User

Stayed there with my brother for two nights prior to his wedding, very impressive in side, room clean and comfortable, not impressed with the breakfast, very small choice, of continental style breakfast my brother had cooked breakfast, half of it was stone cold!!! Drinks expensive, shower was either freezing cold, or so hot it burnt you, wouldn't recommend for the price they charge.

User

Poor. We had afternoon tea here before Christmas, the only thing that was ok was the sandwiches. There was no clotted cream for the scones just synthetic cream, the cakes were poor quality bought in cakes, the macarons were hard and no top ups on tea were offered. In fact we were left completely alone in the dining room, there was no waitress in sight after our tea was served! Not good value for money at all.
