When Martin and I first took ownership of Centenary Way our daughter Rebecca was only 2 years old. Over the years many of you have seen her grow up into the lovely young lady that she is today. Last saturday Martin and I proudly saw her marry her childhood sweetheart Ben. It was a fantastic day and we all had a brilliant time. Here are a few pictures from our perfect day.

Apologies to our customers but the Fairy Garden will be closed this Sunday 12th August as Rebecca and Ben have to attend church for the reading of the banns prior to their wedding in 9 weeks time and Martin and I are celebrating our Ruby wedding Anniversary on Sunday so we are hoping to have time for a get together with family and friends.

So FED UP of people booking pitches and then just not turning up. If you can't come PLEASE ring us and then we can relet the pitch. Even if you just leave us an answerphone message it's better than being totally thoughtless and just assuming it will be okay not to turn up.

User

User

Well just got back from a lovely weekend away. It's a great little site not too far away from the beach and the main town. The staff are friendly and a great help as we had a problem with our caravan and he helped us out so thankyou very much and we will definitely be going back. The only problem I have is that there was no seat in the shower but I'm sure it's and easy fix

User

We just got back from here after a 4 night stay. How good was it ??? Count the stars and ask if we have booked to go again (answer being - YES). Lovely clean site and very friendly staff. They really do put their heart and soul into making it a lovely, clean and friendly place. Only hardships are, it's a 10 minute walk to the beach and a marathon 15 minutes walk to the town centre, phew, thank gawd for the Cobblers arms on the high street to re-charge your batteries. Anyhoo, we love Filey, and we loved the campsite. Can't wait to return in about 10 weeks. Mick & Gill. X

User

We have just returned from a weeks camping, facilities very clean and good sized pitches. Will definitely be returning! 😀

User

We enjoyed our stay . lovely well maintained and friendly site.a good dog walk area and only a 15 min walk into filey past the donkeys.only thing that lets it down is the toilet/shower blocks.much too small for such a large site really needs addressing owners .

User

Stopped here a few times in a few different campers over the years. I love this site, it's very reasonably priced and extremely well kept. The toilets and showers are kept very well, there's a playground, clothes washing and drying facilities and there's a generally pleasant, easy going atmosphere. Last few times I've been they've added a lovely outdoor garden and cafe called "The Fairy Garden". Lovely food at really good prices. I've always found them really helpful too.

User

Stayed here with my 6 year old daughter for the past 3 nights and absolutely loved the calm feel of the place. Loved the allocated pitch (as you don't always get one allocated in some places) and loved that it wasn't overly busy. Everywhere was clean and tidy. The fairy garden is fabulous for food and the beach is just a short walk away. Met some lovely people too and we are definitely going to come back next year if not sooner.

User

Perfect spot, easy 10 minute walk in to Filey, good pitch size, not too close together, toilet shower facilities good can get very busy, but kept clean. Good family site will definitely return.

User

Lovely little park! Guests must remember though if they see a problem to say something! The owners can only sort faults they know about! We will be back!

User

Just spent 5 days here and it was fantastic; the camp is beautifully presented, tidy and perfectly sized. A short walk into town and to the beach. Facilities were always clean and tidy when we used them. And dog friendly a bonus as we have a newly acquired jackahuahua. We will definitely be making a return visit.

User

Just got back from a lovely week was very impressed with the campsite the facilites was absolutely immaculate will definitely be returning next year x

User

Just been for the w,end. Me and the wife really enjoyed it, the site was as immaculate as usual, we are back next w,end.

User

Had a wonderful few weeks here, friendly helpful owners, site well maintained as always, and site always quiet after 11pm. Lots of hot water in the showers. Fairy garden cafe has great food at sensible prices. Best thing about this site is that it is only a short walk to the beach and into Riley itself. Thanks for a lovely stay.

User

Great site. The location couldn't be better. 10 mins walk to the centre of filey. Very well organised with decent sized pitches. Showers are a little dated but good enough to get a shower and there clean which is the main thing. Booked to go back in 3 weeks I enjoyed it that much

User

Been coming here from the age of 4/5 (now 28 lol) with my grandparents and now with my family. Lovely little site. Clean toilets/showers. Pitches not too cramped like some others! Great location!

User

This year was our 3rd year of visiting and as usual we had a great time, the site is always clean and tidy and the fairy garden is super if you don't want to make breakfast! Just one complaint this year, sadly we were very disappointed that somebody was allowed to pitch a tent right next to us after 10pm at night. Obviously it was pitch black and we had just got kids in bed and a van turns up engine on..headlights on, so they could see, but this blazed through our tent! then they proceeded to set up their tent, chattering away, banging in tent pegs, then blowing up air beds, swearing and arguing with each other, all of this could be heard by our kids...not great!!

User

First, this is a nice quiet site, ideally situated for quick access to Filey and the beaches. Great if you have dogs as walkies are only a couple of minutes away.

We arrived and quickly on our allocated pitch, nice and spacious.

The toilets are dated but very clean and warm, didn't use the shower though as we used our own in the Motorhome.

More suited for caravans as there's no dedicated grey waste disposal. It's a big site so more fresh water points are needed around the site. There's only one at the moment and I had to block an access road to fill the water tank and then empty the grey water when we left.

Very Peacefull at night but I didn't feel so happy being woken up at five in the morning by a contractor getting up to go to work! He Insisted on running his truck for ten minutes before driving away. Worse, he treated the site to his extra loud disco babble music playing in his truck even though no-one was in it. INCONSIDERATE IDIOT!

Pointless complaining as I was there for two nights while the contractor was there for a couple of months.

Apart from this the site was fine only spoilt by this moron. Not a reason not to use it, and I'll probably do so again, just be careful where you are pitched.

User

The first spot we got was on stones (hardground) even though we booked weeks ago , after a few attempts the owner let us move to the field which was a millions times better for the children as it was near the park , the kids loved that but I thought it was quite dangerous the cars had to cut through the park to get to the tent field, also I didn’t feel like it was very child friendly with the junk yard next too the park , the fairy garden was very small compared to what I expected on the photos . I just didn’t feel very welcomed by any of staff who worked there and I won’t be coming back again , as I say though the kids loved the park with a few changes it could be so much better . There is two showers which have a massive queue in the morning but we’re clean and tidy .
