visited 23/01/17 whilst passing through on our motorcycles. Had the winter vegetable soup with warm bread roll. Bloomin excellent. Coffee afterwards. everything was as it should be, service excellent. Toilets are brill too, in the attic but the charm of seeing the building and getting up there on the bitter and twisted steps was a joy. Thank you �🏍

Visited on 14 march for breakfast. Staff very pleasant and inviting. Really good menu and plenty to choose from. I had the omelette and it was lovely. My hubby had the porridge with blueberries and he said it was the best ever and he is fussy about his porridge. Would highly recommend

Very pleasant, efficient staff giving high service, great food, would highly recommend.

Tuck away thru a doorway and up the stairs, very pleasant, good waiting staff and the food was excellent. Not really suitable if you are unable to climb stairs very well but well worth a visit, a really traditional tea room

Stopped in for breakfast with the wife and was extremely impressed, lovely food and staff were really good. We'll definitely be back soon.

Just had one of the best lunches this afternoon. The food really was amazing. The staff were very nice, there was a lovely atmosphere and I'll definitely be going back asap.

I really can't rate Central Cafe Tea Rooms high enough �

Excellent service, and the food was fabulous!! The cafe itself is so lovely, full of character and the size of the place is very misleading from the outside.



The food proportions are generous and very good value for money. The quality of the food was excellent. I ordered a 8oz steak with egg / chips, very yummy! Love the quirky narrow steps leading up to the toilets.

Dead handy in the centre of Stamford on a Friday when you've been to the market. Fantastic selection of food on hand covering a broad range and it is very "cosy", especially upstairs.

On the downside the only thing we didn't like was the phenomenal price differential in the food to eat in and the food to eat out. If anything it would encourage customers to take the food away rather than patronise the cafeteria.

Good service though and done with a smile.

We called in for a coffee and hot chocolate plus a cheeky slice of cake and weren't disappointed. Cake was lush. The young lady waiting on us was a credit too, which made the whole relaxed experience even more pleasant.
