Wow, time does fly! What a great video from exhibitor advisory board member KWS UK Ltd. looks like you had a brilliant time at Cereals 2018 - we look forward to seeing you in 2019

Throwback Thursday... How was Cereals day 2 a week ago?!

User

Can anyone believe it's been a week since Cereals 2018?! The positive feedback is still coming in thick and fast and we're looking back on how successful the farmer & exhibitor-led changes were at this year's event - what did you think of this year's new features?

User

We can’t believe it’s been almost a week since Cereals 2018! Here’s just a few of our highlights, what was your favourite part of the event?! 🚜🌾

User

This year's event saw a plethora of topics covered in our seminars - Cereals Conversation & Cereals Controversial.
Did you attend a seminar this year? If so, let us know what you thought!

Excellent showcase for future farming, equally concentrating on agriculture like so few events do now!

Excellent event , my husband looks forward to it each year

Lots of people struggled with the booking in not enough help for the over 21's.

Lots of peoles scanners didn't work very annoying.

This company killed the Royal show judging by how many companies did NOT attend is this event going the same way ??

Enjoyed the two days. Easy parking but dreadful mess at the gate. I was told scanning probs - my printer was faulty. Show needs a major rethink before next year. It is the premier event now, where awards are given - I had the IAgEng journalism award in 2016 and it was a great place to receive it. Haymarket need to talk to farmers, journos and exhibitors and ask for frank opinions, tough comments and, most importantly, really good suggestions which they act upon. Losing the event would be a major blow to farming - it is and should be a proper event for information exchange. But the stand prices are far too high for my FarmIdeas magazine!

Enjoyed more than Cambridge last year a very good turn out and interesting event as always just a really bad shame the lack of turn out from exhibitors! They have decreased over the years ! Some of the local company's we deal with such as claas, frontier, Jcb and gledells. Also I think their wasn't a big boost for precision agriculture I only saw 3 main gps stands maybe there was more but none I could identify. A tent should be allocated to this section in my opinion. But good to see new companys promoting and manufacturing products! Plenty in the Spray section as per ! Will be turning out next year hopefully to see some familiar and local company's !

Booking tickets online is not great, too many questions, simplify it. Being asked to have your badge scanned every time you go to an exhibitor is just so irritating too. Less exhibitors than previous years, I assume it's becoming too expensive for them. Also less people attending I thought. Lots of good stands though, and was just about worth traveling too but not sure about next year, other exhibitors talking if not going next year😲😩

User

not been for 2 yrs . hassle getting in and poor turnout .not the amount of machinery there used to be and had to do a mile to get the 4 extra points for nroso

A shadow of what it once was. Trying to use the online ticket registration was a pain in the neck. Phone calls to the help line confirmed that the problems were at their end.

Most of the big machinery companies and agricultural supply companies have pulled out due to the expense. Filling it with land agents is hardly the same thing. It is only the Ag-chem companies and sprayer manufacturers that keep it going and they would be much better served by reestablishing the old Sprays and Sprayers show in Cambridge.

Two stars because the low turn out did mean there were no longer the big queues to get in and out that there use to be.

It would have been really depressing if we had had to fork out for an over priced ticket. Good business plan though - make people pay to be advertised to.

LAMMA is better and free.

Very disappointing show. Chaotic entry, adding significant delays, solely to "harvest" visitor data. Exhibitor numbers down, much smaller than previously. I shan't be going again.

User

Very disappointed with this year's event booked tickets for 2 days but wasn't worth going back for the second day. Very disappointed

User

Pain in the arse to get in. Old school paper ticket system, why not just scan e-ticket via phone?

So much smaller that previous years. Sales people looked bored and fed up.

Lack of people attending. Overpriced. Demo arena was very quiet more action at the pig farm next door!

Only benefit of being quiet that you didn't have to wait to speak to sales person or for food!

Needs looking at for next time drastically!!

Lamma is the one for me. . . .
