About Us
Chads Cars is a licensed Private Hire Company based in the City of Derby and has been established for over 15 years. During this time our Fleet has grown to its present level and we currently operate around 120 licensed vehicles all of which are modern four door Saloons Estates.

Online Booking. We have also invested significantly in our business, with the installation of a Computerised Booking & Dispatch system. All our vehicles have been installed with a Data Unit allowing for more accurate dispatch of pick - up and destination information. This system also uses GPS which gives us the ability to track any vehicle and helps us to provide our customers a Reliable and Professional service.

No more waiting. The Data system will also allow for the driver to activate a RINGBACK . The RINGBACK service is a free facility available to all our customers. We can arrange for the telephone you are calling from to give two rings to let you know of the imminent arrival of your booked car, therefore, No more waiting outside Pubs, Clubs, Restaurants. You can even use this service from Home.

Airport transfer. Amongst the services that we provide is Airport Transfer, we will transfer you to or from any UK Mainland Airport. All journeys can be pre - paid, we accept all major Credit /Debit Cards, but currently unable to accept card payment in the vehicles at present.

Was picked up from a & e this morning in derby. The man who picked us up chatted the full way and was lovely. Can only apologise for the running about to try and get money. Please pass my thanks onto the driver

I just want to say a massive thank you to my taxi driver who dropped me off last night (sorry, I didn’t get your name). I left my purse in your taxi and you’ve just dropped it off at my house, thank you so much. It’s heartwarming to know there are good people out there!

Great experience with Chads the other night, I booked using the app a day ahead, super easy to do, about five minutes before my taxi was due I got a text to say what car it was going to be and the registration, this made it so much easier for me, being on my own at the end of a night out where lots of other taxis were around, I could easily pick mine out. The quote for my journey was accurate, well my actual journey was slightly cheaper so that was great too as I could make sure I had the cash, although I'm aware I could have paid via the app. The driver was friendly and even lit up my drive with his lights so I could safely make it to my path in the dark and the ice. I rarely get taxis but if I do get one in future it will be Chads.

Fantastic service from our driver for our airport run , he was friendly and on time ..thankyou gaffa (Not sure of spelling) :)

Had no problems with any of the drivers who have all been great. Customer service on phone can be a bit rude and it isn't easy to book wheelchair vehicle using the app which is inconvenient.

Taxi drivers are lovely but the people on the phones are bloody awful!! Won't be calling again.

Up until now i'd have rated chad cars 5*. However after the taxi driver didn't allow my 4 year old to even have her seatbelt on and flooring it to the end of the street I'm in utter shock. Such poor service considering you'd think passenger safety should and would rank highly?!

Pre-booked a Taxi on the Wednesday for a Saturday night so plenty of notice, and yet still never turned up on time..."Response was "Ah, it is Saturday night duck"...No loss to me, another firm got the £55 fare that was waiting �

Never known anyone con money so much! Charge you upfront, taxi costs a lot less, then they won't give you the change! Absolute farce

Just passed one of your car's in service with passengers and on tge mobile phone dicusting

Its xmas eve ive just been dropped home at 1030 by a preordered cab from a 5.4 mile journey & been charged £16-50! On phoning to complain i got told "its xmas mate so its time & half" . 5.4 miles = £16-50 never not even at double time!! Its not even a bank hols!!! Wheres your customer service or goodwill to loyal customers???? You just lost me as a customer,merry bloody xmas!

If i ever come back to derby for a night ill be staying clear of these taxis! Left us stranded! Taxi was meant to arrive at 1.30am we had spoken with them 10 minutes before saying they were coming. 2.15am still no taxi we called to be placed on hold for 25 minutes to then cut us off and kept ignoring our calls! They finally turned up after 3am!!

I am a regular customer who has used chadd cars sometimes up to 8-10 times a week for the last 5 years. I can honestly say the last 6 months have been utterly horrendous. I have approximately had bookings late costing me nearly 1.5 hours of my time this week. The drivers rarely if ever apologise on arrival. I advance book all my journeys - I can accept 15 minutes but just now was nearly 50 minutes at the school gate with my son. The office doesn't care when you call, the drivers don't seem to care. I've found another service so that's my time done with chadd cars. I won't be using them after this week.



Simply can't understand what has happened to the business or if in fact any of them actually care about it!

Drivers friendly, but company itself very unreliable. When you book a taxi for a set time the night before and it shows up 15-20 minutes late � this wasn’t just on one occasion this is all the time. Not good when it makes you miss the bus you needed to catch to work. I give it plenty of time then still late. Unimpressed

Dreadful service from Chad Cars on Friday night left us 1 hour late, having to use an alternative company, and footing a bill for £75. Not a happy customer and I won't be using them again.

Chads Cars really have took the piss we used them this morning to take our yorkie to the vets for an op and rang them to bring the dog and hubby home they all of a sudden want to charge extra

Chadd cars didn't bother to show up to EMAP to pick up my parents an elderly couple in the middle of the night, everyone else had gone off their flight so just them left in the dark, freezing even though I booked the taxi the previous evening and also confirmed it at 4.25am, put in a complaint, was told a manager would ring me but guess what!!!!!!! No call what a surprise, this was the second time it has happened DO NOT book Chadd cars if you need a taxi, hopeless, unreliable, not trustworthy 😡😡😡, Please Share

Cannot put into words how disappointed I am with the service myself and friends have just received this evening. Never normally had a problem with this service in all honesty. But tonight we ordered a taxi from the train station. We received a phonecall to let us know our taxi had arrived only to find they were on the other side of the station. When we told them we werent near them we was told to call another taxi. After calling the office again we was told theyd have a word with the driver and we heard nothing back. After so long we had a message and finally got a taxi. Its cold, late & we all have babysitters to get home to and dont appreciate unreliable service.

Biggest bunch of liars. Never turn up on time and have left my son stood outside in the rain for 15mins. If you want people's custom you ought to do your job properly
