❤️🦔❤️ PRICKLY FRIENDS FAYRE - £1,507.34 RAISED ❤️🦔❤️
We hope you all enjoyed our Prickly Friends Fayre as much as we did and thank you to everyone that came and supported us and help make it a huge success. We are totally overwhelmed by the amount that was raised and all the donations that came in on the day, along with food donations too. We really didn’t expect to raise £1,507.34, a wonderful amount which will all go towards our outside fully enclosed enclosure for ...hedgehogs. We still have two name cards to fill for the Hedgehog House and the Teddy, so hopefully more money to come in to us as well.
There are many people to thank for helping us put the event together and without them all we could not have made it the success it was. Huge thanks to:
Refreshments: Anna, Jackie, Dave, Louise, Charlotte and Maureen
Tombola: Ian, Vivien and all our wonderful supporters for donating prizes
Raffle: Aimee, Dixon, Grace, Lisa, and again, all our superb supporters for donating prizes
Charlie’s Hedgehog Care Stall: Anna, Rosie, Maureen, Abbey, Christine, Melody and Pumpkin
Charlie’s Hedgehog Care Educational Stand: Wendy
Kate for making our mascot Charlie
Photography and Educational: Bob
Name Card Prizes; Stuart and Lisa
Setting up and Packing away: Malcolm & Jane, Paul, Abbey, Mark and everyone else that mucked in and got on with it.
All our charity and business stallholders who we were proud and honoured to have at our event.
Holton Le Clay Multi-Purpose Educational and Resource Centre (MERC) for allowing us to hold the event at our Village Hall
Finally, if I’ve missed anyone out I’m truly sorry, and I know I will have, but one thing is for sure, we couldn’t have held our Prickly Friends Fayre without all of you and all our amazing supporters.
Thank you all again for supporting us and look forward to seeing you all next year.
Kerry, Barry and our very Precious Hedgehogs ❤️🦔❤️

❤️🦔❤️ HARRIET HAVING A MUNCH ❤️🦔❤️
There’s nothing wrong with Harriet’s appetite is there?
We are keeping her in the cat carrier in the hospital to limit her movements and to give the break a chance to heal where it was pinned.
... Can you hear her munching away?
Kerry ❤️🦔❤️

❤️🦔❤️ DIANA IS OUR VERY OWN SUPERVET ❤️🦔❤️
Claire brought Harriet to us on Sunday night after our Prickly Friends Fayre with a poorly back leg. I gave her pain relief and antibiotics as it didn’t look to good at all and called the vets first thing Monday morning.
Harriet’s leg was broken as you can see from the x-rays and our very own Supervet Diana of Black Sheep Vets operated and pinned the break. How magnificent is Diana, she has in the past pinned Cuddles and Elli...e Mae’s broken legs successfully so let’s hope that with Harriet being on total rest before she goes back to the vets in 10 days, that the break mends well.
Just look at her beautiful little face, please send healing powers to Harriet for a speedy recovery. ❤️🦔❤️

We look forward to seeing Pat of Merriwether Art at our Prickly Friends Fayre and every piece of art sold helps towards lovingly providing food and shelter for local strays.
Over the past few years her home has become a haven for the battered and oft-times bewildered cats who come to her for food and shelter. Pat is not a sanctuary but a half-way house for those in need. Come along and support Pat on her mission.

Sue will be joining us at our Prickly Friends Fayre and has been crafting in one form or another for most of her life. She started her small business after she retired as she enjoys a variety of crafts. Sue has also been jewellery making for about 40 years and specialises in swarovski crystals and semi-precious stones.
She enjoys card making and can make personalised and bespoke cards for all occasions. Another one of her crafts is producing home decor items including canvase...s, plaques and personalised family tree frames. Sue recently discovered Powertex, which is a fabric hardening medium that after 3 weeks becomes weather resistant, so she make gnomes, fairy houses and garden plaques. For indoors she makes decorative seahorses, guitars, frames and clocks, as well as decorate goblets and bottles, which can be handwashed.
Please come along and meet Sue at our Prickly Friends Fayre and view all the educational stands and selected craft stalls for an interesting afternoon.
