What can I say...you made my daughters dream come true! (Maybe mine to) Five star service from start to finish. The member of staff that took us round on experience was super friendly and very knowledgable. Would 100% recommend to anybody. The food was fabulous too x

User

Went on the Alpaca walk and sparkling afternoon tea on July 26th. Really enjoyed the whole experience...the girl who led the walk was knowledgeable and friendly and explained the traits of each animal as she gave each person their alpaca! She told me that mine liked to be at the front and enoyed being spoken to!! We arrived back and went to the cafe for afternoon tea...the waitresses were efficient and brought the sparkling wine straight away quickly followed by hot drinks and then a lovely platter with fresh sandwiches, cakes and sweet potato fries on...plus the most delicious banana ketchup! Really couldnt fault anything and would definitely recommend a visit!

Went along today (20/07/2018) to a Cria watch, the young girl (sorry can’t remember her name) that took us for our experience was very knowledgable, and showed great passion for her role...after the experience we enjoyed a light lunch in the chilli bean cafe, again very polite, passionate young girl (Alice) looked after us, nothing was too much trouble, served us very promptly with great food etc...a very big well done to all at Charnwood forest alpacas...will certainly be visiting again :)

User

We “found” Charnwood Forest Alpacas by accident! But what a charming place. We had a delicious lunch at Chili Bean Kitchen where Alice was an extremely lovely host - explaining the menu and helping with special requests - I recommend the Scones and the Grazing Boards. Afterward we fed the Alpacas - they are very friendly and clearly well looked after.

We are all excited to return to do the Alpaca walk. Will def see you on our return next year !

User

We had a lovely time on our walk the weather was perfect not to hot and not cold or raining. We were especially impressed at how we were looked after with our two young children (age 3 and almost 2) it was hilarious getting to know our alpacas and learning about them too. Bonus was seeing an hour old alpaca in the field too!

Cafe food was tasty and good value.

User

Very knowledgeable staff, super cute good natured and nurtured animals!

Did the Cria watch this time but will be back in a couple of weeks to do the alpaca walk with afternoon tea! Such a lovely experience would highly recommend to anyone! Looking forward to my return trip!

User

My husband bought the alpaca walk and afternoon tea for my birthday. We went on 20th July and had a brilliant time from start to finish! Abby started the session right on time, giving us information about the alpacas and showing us how to handle them. The animals were so sweet and gentle and we thoroughly enjoyed walking them around the fields. We were allowed time half way to take photos and to hug and feed our alpaca Abby was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all the questions our group came up with.

The animals were well cared for and all the staff we met obviously enjoyed their job.

We had a lovely cold glass of prosecco as soon as we got back to the cafe. Our afternoon tea was delicious and we found the staff in the Chilli Bean friendly and attentive. All in all a wonderful and memorable day. I would certainly love to return and do it all again!

My Sister and I came for a return visit, to Charnwood Forest Alpacas, we came on Friday 27th July at 10-00am for the Cria watch and after the the safety talk we walked towards the Alpacas and their Cria's we were among a group 12 and at the entrance to the Cria's field we were very lucky to see that Pandora had, had her baby he was apprx 1-2hrs old.the staff also involved us in the sexing and weighing of the Cria, which was wonderful,we both had a lovely time and are in the process of sorting another visit soon The staff are all very informative. . friendly.

User

I’ve been here twice now for an alpaca walk and sparkling afternoon tea, and it’s always a fabulous experience! The alpacas are so gentle, a pleasure to walk and they love a good selfie. The guides are friendly and knowledgable, and happy to help when your alpaca decides it has its own agenda!

The afternoon tea tops it off perfectly; fresh sandwiches and some great cake. A great afternoon out!

User

I took my fiancee for the sparkling afternoon tea with alpaca walk. We loved to experience, we first were introduced to the alpacas and a bit about them. Then given our very own one for the walk, I was give one call d two-tone, a dark alpaca. He was very friendly and a joy to walk with and then the tea was lovely, plenty to eat and all the staff we came across were lovely... many thanks

User

I booked the Cria watch for my granddaughter as a treat for her 13th birthday.

We had the worst weather we'd had in weeks, but were lucky enough for the rain to hold off thoughout our experience. Once in the field with the Mums and their babies the chill wind was forgotten. The alpacas are so receptive to their visitors, it was a joy to be around them. My granddaughter became completely engaged in the whole experience. The animals are clearly well cared for and Shelby, our guide was knowledgeable and informative.

User

I booked for my hubby & I to come for the Cria Watch yesterday, from the start to the finish our visit was well worth while.

Our guide Joanna was very informative, friendly & professional & I wouldn’t have thought she had only been there 4 months.

We had such good fun with the Alpacas, we sat on the grass & one by one we were surrounded, they are so friendly & adorable

User

Had a great time yesterday on the alpaca walk. It’s so much fun and the alpacas are so cute. The staff are fabulous and very welcoming, they are very informative and have a great relationship with the alpacas which helps you learn about their temperament. The sparkling tea was faultless after the walk, food was great and this small growing business is defiantly going to grow as so much effort is made to make it enjoyable. Thank you so much to everyone at Pukka Alpacas we had a lovely time and would defiantly be coming back.

User

Had a fabulous morning at the farm.

We did the Cria Watch, our guide was lovely and the little information brief at the beginning was great addition learning aswell as having fluffy cuddles. The farm is so clean and tidy and the cafe wasn't too badly priced. All I'd say would the gift shop could do with a few small items for kids to take away as my son loves gift shops. Maybe alpaca wool pencils or mini alpaca keyrings. Already recommended to all my friends

User

Fantastic experience!

We came to enjoy walking the aplacas and sparkling afternoon tea. Meeting the alpacas was brilliant, the educational piece just before was interesting and didn’t go on for too long. The walk is lovley, a nice route with great terrain. Walking the alpacas was great fun and they are easy to handle VERY SOFT and extremely cute. The afternoon tea was lovely, made even better as the cafe caters for gluten free which means I didn’t miss out. Very tasty!

The only could do better from me would be to stock more alpaca themed items in your shop (it was looking a little sparse) didn’t spoil the day for me though so 5*

Illl be seeing you again soon!

User

Booked for my 13 year daughter for her birthday treat but it wasn’t just her who loved it, we all did. The animals were amazing and such a lovely setting. Beth our guide was really nice and super knowledgeable

Afternoon tea was lovely afterwards although super hot in the tent but that’s not the venues fault it was roasting hot day. Have recommended to lots of people - 5 stars from us

User

Absolutely fantastic experience. My mum brought me the Cria watch and alpaca walk experience for my birthday and both were brilliant! Shelby and Beth were both very knowledgeable and approachable and did a fantastic job making sure all guests where okay at all times!

Me and my fiancé are looking into visiting together some time soon!

Thank you!

User

Had a group of six at the 3.00pm Cria Experience on Saturday 7th July as a present for my wife's birthday. A very hot day and we all enjoyed the Alpacas who were fantastic animals, obviously well cared for. The guide, Abby, I think (forgive me if I'm wrong) did a great job and was very knowledgeable and friendly........in all really worth the money paid for the experience.

The only thing to ruin an excellent visit was as follows. We made this special family booking about a month ago and tried to book an Afternoon Tea to follow the 3pm Cria Experience. To be fair to the CFA office told us that it was only possible to book an afternoon tea with the Alpaca Walk, but not with the Cria Experience. Having tried to pursuade the office that a group of six afternoon teas would be good business and would make my wife's afternoon perfect, I was told unfortunately it couldn't happen, but the Chilli Bean Kitchen would be open on our return from our 3pm Cria Experience and we'd still be able to eat. On returning from a very hot and lovely experience at 4pm, we were told the kitchen was closed, unfortunately no food or ice cream............such a pity to mar a lovely experience.

User

Excellent, went Sun 8th July. 1 adult 3 children.

Bought as a Christmas gift. The whole Alpaca experience was great. Very well organised, ran to time.

It was a bit of a pin trying to book on website, as you couldn't just alter dates if the date you wanted was full, it took you right back to the beginning, and you had to start all over again. Took me over 1 hour to sort out and. Book 4 tickets. Rang up to book, but was told you have to book on website.
