Improvement update at Chestnut Cottage 🤩 Our ‘ in house ‘ Upholsterer has been busy making a pair of head boards for the twin bedroom ... it’s had a makeover and we can now confirm that we can sleep 10 people easily ...

Without doubt a beautiful house with more extras than you could imagine, we decided not to do Xmas presents last year with us all being grown up and go away together instead, we could not have picked a better place to stay, I have 2 children and everything for them was catered for even down to the baby spoons, my 4 year old daughter also loves the hula hoops! My sister and her partner have a dog and she loves the outside space so much so that we struggle to get her inside! Mum and dad clearly love it too as we found them in the hot tub at 8.30am! The only issue we could possibly find (but it was a plus point for us to not pick up our phones all the time) was the wifi is a little temperamental but my brother managed to see the football scores so no issue really!! Highly recommended for a peaceful break.

We are a group of six midwives who enjoy the occasional weekend away. We have just had the most wonderful weekend at Chestnut Cottage. The house is beautiful and tastefully decorated with many personal little touches. The grounds are beautifully kept and the hot tub is a definite bonus. The house is located to many places of interest. It was lovely meeting the owners on our departure day. Highly recommended.

The house is fabulous, beautifully decorated and plenty of space for our group of 9. Loved having the aga and the hot tub went down well. The only two challenges were the lack of ensuites (only 1) and the wifi which kept going down - but actually it was quite nice not to have it on the end :-) would highly recommend!

Beautiful, spacious, well equipped and basically I wish I could live there! We have all had an amazing time.
